Looks like my state is #1 for business. The state where I live.

Hawaii as one of the BEST to live in??? Doesn't check out.

Prices are ridiculous there.
My friend moved out there because it's a tropical paradise and he had no other particular goals or aspirations. He lived in a cave first (not kidding), then upgraded to some sort of communal farm where he lived in a bunk house, now two decades later he has finally gotten to where he can afford a serviceable apartment. The house prices out there are completely insane.

Not gonna lie, a cave in Hawaii sounds pretty nice.

No offense to anyone here but I would hate to live in Texas, the heat, severe weather that can be deadly, having to spray for scorpions once a month etc. I'm not even talking about people who are overly religious or etc because those people exist everywhere to some degree.

I love a lot of things about living in CA but the cost of living here is outrageous and I have been looking at other states, sadly the most affordable ones are all red states or purple at best.

Everyone I know who's moved there ended up moving back, they didn't hate it but that lifestyle just wasn't for them. A few things they complained about were the cost and in many cases lack of reliable utilities (power went out often during rain) there is also resentment towards white people from a lot of locals (deservedly so in some cases) and they all got "island fever" and just felt trapped there.

Lol is this true?
Not really, but there may be other variables that can influence said moments.

I once went with a friend to a car show in San Diego, an almost two hour drive, if traffic is good. When we left, maybe thirty mins in on the freeway drive home his car just dies before an exit that happens to be a hill, upwards. We couldn’t push it, but these three guys stop at the divider, hopped it, ran to the car and helped us push it up and into a gas station. Good people exist everywhere, especially if they’re in the same fandom.
