Update: Sony has responded to the CMA's decision to further investigate the acquisition, and says it "welcomes the announcement."
"By giving Microsoft control of Activision games like Call of Duty, this deal would have major negative implications for gamers and the future of the gaming industry," the firm said in a statement to GamesIndustry.biz. "We want to guarantee PlayStation gamers continue to have the highest quality gaming experience, and we appreciate the CMA's focus on protecting gamers."

It's stupid. There is still a ton of competition left. It's not like MS gets a monopoly on gaming or any genre. Sony buys studios too

Sony does, after Xbox bought those studios in 2018 Sony has bought 12 studios. If Xbox gets Acti/Blizz they will have bought 29ish studios, that includes the mobile focused studios, which would only give Xbox 5ish more studios than #1 placed Playstation.

Hmmm, would it still have a separate subscription, or if ya own it on pc could you have crossprogression? Maybe include it with gold, GamePass and GPU?
