Lmao not a good idea, the general consensus will be is that Xbox is forcing GP on people not that they're doing away with gold. The majority of Xbox owners will be fine with it I'm sure, but I don't think it will paint a pretty picture

I've been leaning heavily with making Xbox my primary console next gen and this might deter me from doing so. Since last month, I finally have the ability to play online games again since the 2002 dialup days on PC, and these changes don't sit well with me. Just like the forced Kinect in the early days of the X1, I don't like being forced into something I don't want.

I feel Brad Sams is off on this one. He's guessing. Not sourcing. Doubling the cost of online gaming for people who don't want Game Pass will actually hurt the mindshare of everything good Microsoft has been doing. He's trying to figure out a logical way for Microsoft to keep the paywall. It's going away.

Maybe preaching to the choir, but this is probably the best summation of my thoughts of the value of Gamepass especially in light of the July event.

Carrion is live and it is awesome!!

I got completely into the game last night...I think it might be my fav Metroidvania from the last few years. Super original and creepy, with throwbacks to Inside, and the old Flashback game.

On a side note, the animated trailer doesn't seem to be in the game, unless I missed it? I would have appreciated cutscenes like that to elaborate on the story.

Anyone try Cross Code? Heard about it on a podcast it has a SNES game look that is like a Zelda/RPG with fun combat that you can sink dozens of hours into. Sounds interesting.

I played a few hours. It's definitely fun, and I think I'll go back to it at some point if I ever reach the point of having enough time to play all the games I intend to.

So fallout 76 is pretty much like fallout 4 so I'm freaking happy, why did this get hated so much?

Wait....whoa. Fallout 76 is like Fallout 4?

I know when I was initially interested in Fallout 76 and went looking for gamer feedback one of the biggest complaints was about how bug filled the game was and how over monetized its become since its launch. As a Gamepass member it'll cost me nothing more to see for myself which I'll have to do soon.

Long Live Gamepass. :bang:

Ah that makes sense, it's probably been ironed out a lot.

I'm only a few hours in but so far I've just been investigating and exploring big buildings, collecting and scrapping and upgrading, maybe the story doesn't have the intrigue like 4 did, but it's definitely serviceable and TBH I kind of just play fallout for the exploration anyway and the world is cool.

42:00 minute mark

I think I love this game. I was doing a replay of Far Cry 3 and then started it up to just check it out, now at this point I think I'm like about 16 hours in, very solid game, kinda has a some funny humor to it and interesting puzzles throughout and decent combat to boot.
