For a flashback episode, E3 2017 it was me and Menace leading the charge here that Microsoft in gaming was bulls***. That they weren't competing. I said I wanted them to sell the division to someone who might do something more aggressive with it. I thought they were done. That their showing was an embarrassment.

Today I'm more excited than I've been since the early 360 years. 2nd half of 2021 will feel more like the true launch of the Series X/S which admittedly wasn't ready for big time in 2020. They have over 20 AAA projects in development and almost as many AA in size. Their upwards AAA 1st/2nd party concurrent projects during the OG Xbox and 360 years was 10 to 12. That was usually only early in the console lifecycle. It would be a start/stop operation since they didn't own the studios making most of the games. Now they'll just keep turning them over. There will be a AAA game every 2 to 3 months and a AA game alternating every other month starting in late 2021 for the foreseeable future. They'll likely add more to the rotation. If you have a Game Pass subscription, know the talent they've added and like variety, hard not to be excited.

What in the world? Torchlight 3 on Series X only runs at 30fps. Come on devs. How hard would it have been to put an uncapped frame rate mode in there? The series X is strong enough to run this with 4 player split screen and 60fps and you give us this garbage?
 
Torchlight 3 is good fun. Diablo style looter with a more cartoony style. Plenty of customization and loot drops to work with.

That's.....kind of a drag? 60 FPS is supposed to be at least the standard now
 
Announced today, Live alone is increasing in price, which I think is a bad move. But its probably meant to push people into GP. So this is a thing again:

Unfortunately, with indie devs likely going to be hit and miss...hopefully a patch comes soon.

Also, here to give a plug for the best game on Gamepass currently......Rainbow Six Siege people. Game is fire and don't know how I missed this....lol. Most strategic FPS I've ever played...just leave your CoD mentality at the door (and really your ego...this is a team game). If you gravitate towards objective based modes in games instead of twitch action and TDM/kill/kill/kill, this game might just be for you. I ended up buying it during the BF sales for $10 as I know it likely won't be on GP for too much longer. Now go play this and make up your own mind!!

EDIT: Oh and if you want to play with me and/or need some tips, feel free to add me (I'm average at the game at best but know some things). I don't play ranked generally (play more non-competitive modes like Quick match or Unranked) so I just play to have fun. Non-toxic gamer here so please be the same (lol, sounds like a Craigslist personal ad). I play usually 5-7:00pm PST on weeknights and 7-10:00am PST/4:00-7:00pm PST on weekends...that's when you're most likely to find me anyway.

OK, I really like Game Pass because it's allowing me to play games I probably wouldn't have.

I love Monster Train! First, I like deck building games to begin with (Slay the Spire, MTG). Monster Train is just like Slay the Spire but with more.
