Plan on starting it tonight after work.

Have you played Children Of Morta or Undermine? Those are the two games that pulled me into the rogue like genre. Great games you can get for cheap. Not sure if they’re still on GP.

Started playing Humankind. I think I have to start over and do a full tutorial (I selected the middle mode for people who are familiar with the genre). The interface is kind of confusing...

These people on Twitter trying to imply that Gamepass was the reason no one bought the game.

Microsoft did their part and Square was happy but Square doesn't want to say what platform wasn't buying the purchase and guess who that will be?
 
Gampass is killing it for me this week. Humankind and 12 minutes in the same week. Humankind is proving to be a huge time sink like Civ and I'm loving anything Annapurna Interactive has published in the last few years.

You're better than I am. I think I was easily 15+ attempts before I got past Megaera. I finally got past the second area's boss a couple of times last night, but the third area one so far has beaten me both times I've made it. But it's such a "I'll play this for a little while... holy f***, have I been playing this all day?" game and usually I only see that with sim type games.

My best runs have been with the bow.

Seriously, it took me many attempts to get past Magaera. Once you start unlocking perks and weapons that assist your playstyle the runs go much further.

I really don't do well with these games, but it did get easier. Plus, the unfolding of the characters and story and dialogue help a great deal to keep you interested and wanting to progress.

Yeah, I've gotten past Tartarus now with all of the weapons I've unlocked (one to unlock still), but it's usually a combination of boons and the weapon fitting the playstyle that work. Like the first good run I had was with the bow and I don't remember what the exact upgrades were but the special attack was just ripping people, plus pushing them back (and I think inflicting the doom for even more damage). Had another run where the spear ended up "losing" the spin attack but gaining a couple of parallel attacks and then a super fast "it'll keep attacking if you hold the button down mode" again combined with I think a pushback boon plus either doom or hangover. Get me something that does the area attack with a heavy DOT and then something to make my dash hurt the enemies too and I do well, otherwise... not so much. :)

The gun weapon is the only one that’s gotten me to the last boss so far. The special attack with the right upgrades will wreck enemies

I used to be obsessed with quake 3 arena back in the day can't wait to try it out again.

I don't think I'll ever forget completely screwing over my playthrough of Skyrim because I abused a glitch. I did learn my lesson and haven't once looked to cheat in gaming since. Ok, I might have used some questionable tactics to get past difficult sections for a few games but nothing on the scale of the Skyrim glitch. :wink:

Lightning lives on!!!!! ;) had my fill of XIII,enjoyed it enough,it has some cool characters,besides that,kind of quiet month but it will help with my backlog lol... ****googles Breathedge****
