I have other online friends you know!
Who is snoopy?
This is why I found all the nit picking during the recent DF comparison video hilarious. Youtubers and fanboys were like a moth to a flame. DF even said themselves the current version wasn't final code.Apparently we haven’t even seen final code yet...

They weren't huffing and puffing though. You saw PC and Sony fanboys spouting the same thing - as if MS were trying to deceive gamers on what the console can do.Youtubers just do it for clicks, that's how they make their money but they know better they just don't care. I don't think anyone really thought it was final code as console isn't even out yet. That being said people do the same thing with every game that gets a preview regardless of platform, if DF says it's struggling in any aspect it becomes the end of the world. This one was made worse because this is a game that's already been out for quite a while and all the huffing and puffing about how easy the One X is to work with and how this version was supposed to be so superior only to see it struggling in the framerate department when running in 4K gave people looking for flaws some ammunition.
I love that they are making three different modes. I hope more developers go this route in the future. It allows games to pick what is more important to them. Higher res, higher frame rate, or high VQ. Love it!Apparently we haven’t even seen final code yet...

I always think it's funny (funny sad, not ha ha) when people get wound up over one or two frame drops, or they use it to dog a certain version.Youtubers just do it for clicks, that's how they make their money but they know better they just don't care. or just get EA Access as it's in the vault.Well damn now im going to have to buy BF1 a second time for X1X.
oh, they deceived gamers alright. They weren't huffing and puffing though. You saw PC and Sony fanboys spouting the same thing - as if MS were trying to deceive gamers on what the console can do.
People need to pick their battles with this thing. Most are jumping the gun with many aspects of the console and what it can do. I wouldn't make a call on any game just yet until the console is out in the wild.

they promised "true 4k gaming without compromise" and as we now know, that 4k gaming is indeed compromised and you have to run games at less than true 4k to get the optimal game experience.
Can we not bring this tired old thread back up? It went on for pages and pages of people saying the exact same thing. Yes they said it back in 2016 when they shouldn't have. Yes they have been EXTREMELY clear on the subject since then.oh, they deceived gamers alright.

"true 4k gaming without compromise" would deliver everything one needs from a game without having to erm.... compromise.Spencer's comments suggest that developers may be able to use Scorpio's additional power to deliver more visually impressive games at a lower resolution, rather than be forced to render at native 4K."

"Speaking in the video (below), Spencer explained that Scorpio is a "6 teraflop gaming machine, which will be a great gaming machine for true 4K gaming, giving you a native 4K frame buffer so you can see games in all their beauty.
"Or," he continued, "if developers want to use those 6 teraflops in other ways they're free to do that."
