That's why i said it would be a secret. You never know. Microsoft could have been playing possum this whole time only to shut the internet down at E3. Imagine if Alan Wake 2 was ready for Scorpio launch? It would be all over.
Region free disks is fun. Just got a copy of Dead Rising 3 from Canada, and Dead Rising 4 from Europe. PEGI 18 on the cover instead of an ESRB logo. Awesome.
I probably should have said, "This Gamerpic s*** is LIT YO! #BLEEEEDGREEEN" and tagged all of the Xbox execs. ;p

I think this is the best place to ask this. The other day on NeoGAF in one of the Xbox threads there was someone claiming that a poster ''in the know'' about things said MS had passed on Playground's brand new IP as an exclusive and that it was now multiplatform. Officially we only know it's a open-world game and not a racing game but if that ends up being true.....that would suck bigtime. MS should embrace a new IP when they already aren't exactly swimming in them from a by now well established studio. Anyone heard anything similar or could it just as likely be BS?
As for Remedy and Alan Wake....if it's up to Remedy, i really don't understand why a deal hasn't already been made for Alan Wake 2. We know those guys love the franchise and want to make it, but now after Microsoft's words about it it seems that's not the case? In fact didn't Remedy partner with someone else for a future game? Man a second AW with the QB engine on Scorpio would be the s***!

Well Remedy owns the IP so the comments could just be about that. Its their IP and its up to them to make it.
Or its possible Remedy wanted to branch out and do multiplatform games

He has previously said that Scorpio would be delayed to 2018, downgraded and that it wouldn't run Xbox One games without ESRam. None of which appear to be true.
My personal favourite was his claim that Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite was going to be PS4/PC only
People asked him who the new publisher for PG game was and he left the topic.
Basically, the guy is a massive liar. Scorpio has GAF on edge quite a bit.

Thanks for this man, much appreciated. Lately I have been roaming GAF a lot and it's easy to get caught up in it all. Lots of people seem to blindly believe these "insiders" and to be fair Shinobi602 was good peoples when he was still on that site but there are also people claiming to know things and they say s*** in a way that makes a lot of folks go "Oooh do tell us more" when in fact he really doesn't know crap.
And yep, I remember rumors from these folks too that Scorpio was in trouble, very uncertain if it was going to release this year and all that stuff. Good to know that this Sneakers dude really doesn't know as much as he claims. From now on I'll take it with a grain of salt whenever a so called insider says something.
Didn't know he left that thread, that's some funny stuff. I did see some recent posts by him. And yes, for sure Scorpio has brought quite something to that forum, hahaha. At the end of the day I find it pretty sad though that you got these folks claiming things when they really don't know a thing. As for that Playground Games thing, I recall another poster saying it wasn't just one guy claiming this. Ah well, in due time we'll find out. Would be great if it's nonsense and MS announces that new game at E3, if it's not too early for that of course.
And just now someone made a new thread there about a job listing for a new fantasy RPG from From Software and Sneakers says "yes they are" and another dude immediately asks him if he knows more. Why are people so gullible towards him?

So i was at target last night and it appears they are clearancing out all original x1 consoles for half off and the x1 500gb halo bundle caught my eye. I'm thinking of picking it up but I'm going to wait a little bit more for the next drop ($120 and under). Anyway, if you don't care about UHD or the scorpio, here's the bundle.
