Looking to possibly add two mods.

To everyone giving me a nod :) Thanks.. remember successful assimilation to the mod team will result in your pay out.

I would nominate naty for the PS section. He seems to be one of the most active, and I think he posts the most new threads. He doesn't troll, he speaks his mind, and he backs up all of his debates with links and facts to support his arguments. He spends a lot of time on the forums...and he is one of the reasons the PS section hasn't died off. It's way slow.

Good point. Naty would be a good choice too for that forum.

No offence to naty, but I disagree. I've seen him go massively off topic and get involved in personal attacks on more than one occasion.

Honestly, I think the offer of being a mod should be left to the discretion of the owner/mod-team. Voting from members just isn't a good idea.

I would like to vote for you to be my personal attendant. I think you have what it takes to bring me my coffee each morning, give me monthly pedi's, and wrap my hamster in duct tape.

Why, thank you. I try to post PS news whenever I can.

I know I tend to lean towards the PS side of things but it's not like I hate MS or anything. It's just Sony's been doing more of the things I like this gen so far. Also, I'd just like to say upfront that I have no experience in moderating but I'd be happy to learn in order to give back to the community if Plainview decides to let me take the position.

I'd nominate Kvally for the Xbox forum since he's shown to prefer Xbox brand but still gives credit where credit is due.

If I'm unable to take up the position, I'd nominate JinCA for the PS forum as well. He posts a lot there as well.

Thanks :)

Well, no doubt that I have ALL those skills, but what it's in for me?

FYI... I'm also fully qualified to wrap gerbils in duct tape. Richard Gere can vouch for me.

Like older Xbox owners I came from N64 and PS2 to the console. The main thing that keeps me playing Xbox is the Halo Franchise. I love the Saga of John 117 and games set in the Halo Universe in general. If I could get them on the PS4, migrating back to that console would definitely be a possibility, because it's a sweet machine. When my ship comes in, I'll have both consoles regardless. Would I make a good moderator? Well, we learn by doing, and first and foremost, a moderator should be fair, even-handed, and be a good peacemaker. He should strive to keep discourse on a higher level, from which I sometimes am prone to fall. It's really up to you to decide. By their fruits ye shall know them, and we all have a sufficient posting history from which you may decide. One thing I have no patience or tolerance for is someone being bullied and picked on and derided. Even the most irritating individual has their good side.

You kool

I'd nominate illiniguy for the Xbox side of things. He is level-headed, has a lot of experience, and hasn't shown much sign of fanboyism or bias. He's shown support for the mod team in the past and has expressed a lot of appreciation for Union. He is also able to communicate well, in a balanced and thoughtful way, which is important.

I am with Andy on this one.

I wouldn't mind being a mod for the Multiplatform section of things though. Just throwing that out there.

On the PS side, Hazard71 or DarkPassenger might be good choices, if they are interested. They seem like good, solid, smart guys with minimal agendas. I'm just not sure if they'd be interested in moderating.

p.s. Oh, I see DP just chimed in before I posted. Well, there you go. And you will definitely need someone to cover the MP forum -- that's where a lot of the console war is fought.
