Looking to possibly add two mods.

Please remove anyone who applies to be a mod from the running. Only megalomaniacs will apply. I thought the first rule of becoming a mod was never ask to be one or show any interest in the post.

My nominations are,

Mcmasters as the PS mod and Viktor for the XB section.

p.s. Oh, I see DP just chimed in before I posted. Well, there you go. And you will definitely need someone to cover the MP forum -- that's where a lot of the console war is fought.

I appreciate the nod but I'm lazy and I would also ban people left and right for getting on my nerves.:)
 
Not one nomination for TD. I can't believe this. It's like i'm not even here. I have an Xbox One avatar and everything. Yet nobody believes i'd be the best Xbox section mod of all time? I'm absolutely appalled. I mean show me one post where i've ever come off biased or ever started trouble. Those PC gamers are ruining my rep. Or was it the cloud and pinnacle statements? I need to know.

For what its worth only a few of the mentioned nominees should get the nod.
 
Plainview, the active mods and input from Andy is what matters. I tend to agree with Plainview on that idea. Apart from that, Andy is a good judge of character. Now, I am not posting this in hoping that it will increase my chances of being a mod. Note, that I didn't ask to be one, but suggested that I will accept the responsibility honorably if duty calls.

Yeah, I agree with that -- Plainview and the mods should make the choice. I appreciate being allowed some input. I think Plainview is listening to what everyone is saying, but in the end, he and the other mods need to make the final call, because they know what is required and they have to work with the person. They're a good group, and you can trust their decision.

Member voting can be a little misleading sometimes. I made a thread once at TXB, where we voted for who we thought should occupy the two open mod seats. Two of the top vote-getters were gorbag and MW. Now, I like both of those guys, but as mods...? Member voting can come down to a popularity or name recognition contest, which isn't a great method.

You are a respected member and former mod, your input does matter and rightfully so. :bang:

I remember that thread. I was opposed to the popularity vote. Although, Gorbag and MW are funny guys with a great sense of humor.

I would like to take up the opportunity to MOD the Xbox forums or PS forums, I am an Xbox owner and even though I am a fan I don't get caught up in the rubbish trolling and have an unbiased opinion as you can see in my post history.

Also....just so you remember I have NEVER been banned at TXB or here. Not ever since I joined TXB over 8 years ago. That has to stand for something. :txbcool:

I can contribute. I'm on this site a ton. I'm a gamer and really don't have any problem with anybody on this site.

If given the chance I would like to mod the multiplatform forums or the Xbox forum if possible. Preferably the multiplatform forums.
I am a PC player at heart so I don't pick sides or ruffle feathers. I speak it like it is. Call out people if need be.

So everybody remembers I WAS Ascalaphus...in case you can't read. LOL.

Id nominate starlight777 on the Xbox side. They're a valuable contributor to the forums, and I think that would be a good fit. Menace-uk- would be good with me too, as he as he seems to be more level headed than the average bear around here.

Id nominate myself, but id drop the ban hammer so fast on graphics whore/resolution threads that I don't think I could be viewed as objective. Though I am objective where the PS4/X1 is concerned, im not objective about peoples need to impose superiority based on their platform of choice. It's obnoxious, and is the main reason most video game forums go to $hit.
