For a guy who claims to be non-biased, he sure seems to crank out the anti-MS stuff. I'm surprised he didn't slip in a pro-PC comment too.
Find where I promoted any anti-MS crap? You're right, I didn't slip in a pro-PC comment....and NEITHER did I put in a pro-PS4 comment. But hey, keep making stuff up out of your ass.
Saying MS pushed Kinect down people's throats isn't anti-MS. If you paid attention to what I'm writing in context, I'm saying that most casual gamers, the bulk of the consumers, mostly just want to game. You and I know that sales for MS started to really do better, once they removed Kinect. That is a fact. That's not pushing anti-MS nonsense, so stop playing the victim card. Last gen was the same thing with PS3. It was too expensive initially for gamers. PS3 started doing better when prices started dropping.
Me saying MS forced Kinect on us is no more anti-MS than me saying I don't like that Sony now charges to play online is anti-Sony.
As for Kinect, who cares if MS released a standalone system later.
It doesn't matter, but you're not paying attention to what I'm writing in context. In context, we're talking about features that gamers want, don't want, don't care about, or don't care enough about.
Don't play the naive consumer card Qbert. You know exactly how pricing announcements are done.
If you're so well versed in PC gaming and naive to price drop strategies, go ask AMD or Nvidia when their new $400 gpu will come down in price to $300 and see if they will say..... "Yeah, we are dropping the price 4 months from now, so be patient and wait it out!"
I'm not naive about it, nor did any of my postings lead to me pretending to be so. Not sure how you come to your conclusions, but then again, taking things out of context to spin it your way I guess would result in that.
If MS has more success with the standalone system why do guys like you get so irritated?
I don't get irritated with MS success? I challenge you to find in any of my post history that shows that I don't want MS to succeed.
This isn't even really stemming from MS or PS4. This came about from me countering someone claiming that the XB1 was the better console....because of these features. I'm saying, that NONE of the platforms, INCLUDING PC (which I did say), are better platforms as a fact due to certain features....only better to the individual that sees value in whatever feature, add on, peripheral, whatever, that the platform has.
You're a PC gamer at heart, so why you post on this forum which is mostly console talk is puzzling. There's lots of PC centric forums out there which you can join in the discussions of who has a better PC rig.
I'm a gamer at heart, and I've said on plenty of occasions that my 360 gets my most play time.
Actually, if we were to look at what I play the most, it would be 360 first, PC second, PS4 third. I've even stated in the past that the only reason why I got a PS4, was to play CoD games with my cousins.
