For starters...I'm not "hiding" anything. It's all out in the open, and for YEARS, I've been saying I play on my console more than on pc.
Second....where do you get that nonsense about me hating consoles, considering I don't bash consoles. If anything, I love my consoles.
The problem here, is that this is how things typically go down:
Consoler - XB1 is the best console ever. It took the #1 spot in NA for a couple of months.
Qbert - That doesn't mean much, what really matters are world wide sales.
Consoler - Oh My Gawd Qbert, shut your dirty Sony loving face. Or better yet, go back to playing on PC and get the hell out of here.
Consoler - These new consoles are awesome. There's no real significant difference between pc versions.
Qbert - Sure, if you don't think better performance, higher resolutions, and mostly better assests don't make a difference.
Consoler - Oh My Gawd, you are such a pc lamer elitist. No one cares about pc gamers or your dirty pc gamer face. Get out of here, leave us real gamers alone to discuss console wars crap without an opposing voice.
Consoler - XB1 is the best platform ever, because it has snapping.
Qbert - There is no "best" console ever. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Certain "features" matter to those that find value in them.
Consoler - God Qbert, why do you hate consoles so much? If you hate them so much, go to PC only forums.

I was being funny, and what I posted wasn't meant to be taken literal.
Depends on what's being said. Ask Val the many times I've gotten into it with him when he made claims about PS4 versus PC.
Notice I never bash XB1. Nor do I bash PS4. Am I ever in the Xbox thread bashing the xbox? Am I ever in the PS4 thread putting the PS4 on a pedestal? Am I ever in the PC thread touting PC superiority over consoles and how much consoles suck?

Your penis is a joke. Something to be laughed at. It doesn't enhance anything. Doesn't provide any value. Doesn't attract to overall product, and serves no function. It's humorous to look at.
I think PC gaming is a gimmick to be honest with you. Oh wow, i can mod stuff and there's more pixels running across the screen. Mouse and keyboard is the best! Even though it's really just the same as a controller. Sounds very gimmicky to me. Like you need to boast about something when you're playing the same game as a console gamer at the end of the day. Okay, you like mods. I like my controller, achievements, and friends list. Play the games. That's all that matters. Who cares what your platform of choice is or if it offers motion controls or not.
VR is a damn gimmick. And a bad one. I think people who buy it will get lost in it and forget what's outside of it. On the other hand, that's an issue of video gaming now without VR. But a device that completely envelopes your sight and sound strictly for entertainment just sounds dangerous to a person's well being.
Xbox One can do tv snapping, integrates your cable service into OneGuide, and you can do Digital TV Tuner stuff.
Sony is releasing this. Never even knew about it. It's a monthly subscription of channels.

Three cities to start, with a nationwide rollout by year's end

Sony's internet TV service, PlayStation Vue, will come out of beta and launch commercially in three major cities within the next two weeks. The Wall Street Journal reports that Sony will offer Vue in New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia to start — cities where invited testers have already been using the service for months. PlayStation Vue runs on Sony's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The goal is to roll out Vue nationwide by the end of 2015, Sony's Andrew House said in an interview with theJournal.
Announced back in November, PlayStation Vue will bundle a number of popular channels including CBS, FOX, NBC, Comedy Central, FX, Discovery, and many more. Much like Sling TV, you'll be able to watch live streams of those networks and "catch up" by watching episodes that've aired in recent days. But Sony's service will have more channels — around 75 in each market — and allow for recorded shows to be stored in the cloud for 28 days.
WE STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT WILL COST
The major question around PlayStation Vue is the monthly subscription price; some expect Sony to charge anywhere from $50 to $80 for the service. And at that point, it's not far off from cable. But to its credit, Sony looks to have built an attractive user interfacethat's a bit nicer and more intuitive than Sling TV's current experience. Speaking of Sling, Sony has also been unable to bring ESPN (one of Dish's big exclusives) to Vue. "Even absent ESPN we are very confident that we have a very robust offering in the sports area with existing partnerships," House told the Journal.
Sony has said it eventually plans to take PlayStation Vue beyond its two consoles with apps for iPad and other devices. It's a big moment for internet TV; Sling has reportedly allied 100,000 subscribers since opening signups, according to Recode. And just two days ago, HBO finally unveiled its standalone subscription service, HBO Now, which will launch in April at $14.99 per month.

Both are doing TV, but differently.
MS: Let's integrate the console to have an HDMI In from the cable box so you can flip between gaming and watching TV easily. We'll even update the channel guide with something called OneGuide for regions where it is compatible
Sony: Let's keep our mouth shut about TV, since gamers don't like it. But later on, let's quietly promote Powers TV show and a subscription service of TV channel packages (something a million cable companies already do). We'll even call it PS Vue which is a play on words for TV Pay-Per-View.
And don't forget PS TV, remote play on a TV, PS Now built into newer Sony Bravia TVs.

Nah, internet tv has always been the end game, Microsoft's method is going backwards because you still need a cable box.
Sounds like PS Vue is the real deal. But i buy my consoles to play games and the PS4 is the best place to do that. The best of both worlds.
What's up with not being able to bring one party over to another party chat? I have a friend who used to play Destiny on the X1 and when he switched to Ps4, he said the online features are better on the 4. Being able to set fire team to invite only, friend only, closed was never an option on the X1, is this true ?
I don't follow. Love the party chat for xbox one. And love the fact it can be managed just by double taking the guide button without ever having to exit the game you are playing. You can change it to open or invite only without having to recreate the party, you can invite and join players from their name in the party menu, you can invite the whole party to a game with one click in the party menu, you can have it open and snapped while you play a game.
I mean, let's say you're already in a party chat and get invited to another. can you bring your whole party to another party chat ?
Also, in the actual game, can you set your fire team to invite, public, friends only, closed etc?
Can someone tell me EXACTLY...where the PS4 leads in anything aside from most consoles sold? I swear to Christ it's almost an exact replica of the 360 (minus the games), and currently trying to mimic the X1. Am I the only one seeing this? lol.
