Would it be asking too much to have them make the game with no bots?
Would it be asking too much to have them make the game with no bots?
Yep.
Things I think need improving.
1. Bot Environment awareness/intelligence
2. Definitely more weapons/ Titans, and customization of them.
3. Frontier Defense needs to not only be bigger(6 waves is not enough) but needs a bit more strategy added to it.
4. A proper Single player campaign or none at all.
5. More recoil to weapons
That is all I really need.
I think they made a very good foundation with the first game.
Honestly, I think the game didn't take off because it lacked the carrot on-a-stick thing that so many people seem to need. A sense of progression seems mandatory now-a-days. Prestige-ing was just annoying and I stopped a Gen 3.
They missed the mark on customization. Oooh, you can change your emblem, lol. There should be a friggin' Livery editor in there!
Would love a Single Player campaign with that gameplay- it would have so much potential!
Adding more recoil would slow the game Waaay down.
They were stupid and could not kill human players. They would just go to a random spot on the map and stand around. Also, anyone who died to a TF bot needs to quit FPS games forever. They could not aim. You could just run around them in a circle and they simply could not hit a moving target.
If they were a little smarter and tougher, they might have worked. Still, they were there because the game was only 6v6 and without bots that would be too few players.
You also couldn't tell the bots from humans until after you killed them. The bots were so easy to kill it was like cheating at solitaire. I play MP gaming to play against human competition, not cannon fodder. Most of my kills would be bots. It just got boring.
Make the bots available for those who are new or not that good in the game. Put a hardcore mode where it's only PvP, now that would be fun. The bots are just cannon fodder anyways and provide nothing to the game IMO.
The bots are more than likely staying in the game guys and they will also more than likely remain pretty dumb.

As I said before, they are there for a reason. They help to reduce Titanfall time when people on the other team want to camp/hide. There would have been a ton of complaints about how long it takes to get into a Titan if the bots weren't in the game.
So I'm positive that there will be modes with bots but I'm positive that they will stay in the game.
Except on the PS4. The bots are going to be smart on the PS4, because as some have stated in the past, TF needed the cloud to intentionally make the AI dumb and not too smart.
I guess it's going to suck for PS4 gamers, having to contend with AI that's not as dumb as cloud driven XB1 AI.
Hmmm, smarter CPU driver A.I on the console with the weaker CPU, interesting, and funny
But it takes a lot of processing power to intentional make the AI dumb, so TF XB1's dumber AI is leaps and bounds smarter than the smarter AI we'll get on PS4.
I bet you confused yourself with that one.
They'll take EA's money and resources though.Nope, I don't think they really want EA to be a part of this.
I like it too. It's like Battelfront-esque. Makes the map and game more interesting.I'm pro-bots. Every MP game should have the option in my opinion.

I think all the Anti-bot folk just died at their hands too much. Now they want rid of them so they never have to feel that shame again
A job listing for a Senior Level Designer confirms that Titanfalldeveloper, Respawn Entertainment, is working on a second non-Titanfall action/adventure style game.
Based on a new job listing, it appears that Respawn Entertainment is planning on taking on a second project while development continues on Titanfall 2. The posting confirms that the studio is now hiring designers specifically for two game development projects: one set in the Titanfall universe and the other being a new 3rd person action/adventure IP.
Specifically, the listing is seeking a Senior Level Designer that will able to “embrace and contribute to the project vision, breathing life into the gameplay world and helping define the moment to moment player experience.” With the position set to work on a couple of projects, one being an already successful IP, it shouldn’t be surprising that the studio is looking for someone experienced having at least five years in the industry and one game shipped.
This isn’t the first time players have heard about a second project over at the developer however. Respawn Entertainment CEO and co-founder Vince Zampella confirmed that a second title was in development but wouldn’t divulge any more details at that time. What fans can be assured of is that Stig Asmussen, former creative director on God of War III, is heading up that second non-Titanfall team. Thanks to the listing, fans now know that the game aims to be a third person action game.
Sadly, not much is known about Titanfall 2 either, with the team at Respawn choosing to bypass E3last year in favor of continuing to work on the game which was probably very early on in development. One thing fans are well aware of is that the exclusivity deal tied to the first game is no longer in place as PlayStation 4 users will finally get to experience the act of dropping titans on the battlefield along side Xbox One and PC players.
Titanfall has proven to be a big success for the folks at Respawn Entertainment as the game managed to reach a big milestone late last year with over 10 million unique users across all platforms. As the game never released on a PlayStation console and its large install base, this is quite the achievement. The studio also bolstered their player base by making every piece of post-launch content free of charge to download last year on its first anniversary, which more than likely helped push those numbers even higher.
Bah give me a more defined Titan Fall.
