Try and look at basketball with a more analytical mind.

He took one of the all time great teams (GS Warriors) to six games with the worst supporting cast in NBA history.

You say he didn't show up in the 4th again but a Kobe led team like this would have been swept due to Kobe's less than dominant nature on the defensive end.

Haters should start appreciating Lebron. It's going to take a while before we see another player this good.

Cavs weren't depleted completely until the Finals, weak east didn't put up much of a challenge, plus Lebron didn't even play defense for much of this playoffs run, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Kobe could have carried this team to two wins in these finals, yep two whole wins.

I count two people who don't know basketball.

The moment you post anything logical about, Lebron, let me now. As of now, you're not.

2-4.

All I've been using is logic. You're the one who keeps spouting out his Finals record like there's some substance to it.

You can't be the best ever and be 2-4 in the NBA. In other sports? Sure but not the NBA.

I'm not claiming they're in the top 10 or making the claim they're somehow in the discussion as best ever. Top 25, yes. Lebron top 10, lol, no. His finals record is one of failure. He's a top 15 player right now. He has to win two more finals with no more loses to be in the top 10 discussion.

2*-4

So Finals record is the end all be all for you? This is your top 5 players of all time list?

1) Bill Russell
2) Sam Jones
3) Tom Heinsen
4) K.C. Jones
5) Tom Sanders

BTW, Elgin Baylor is ABSOLUTELY a top 10 player. The guy was a freak.

Never said it's the only measuring stick, ever. Lebron is a failure in the finals. Very simple. Lebron is not better than

Jordan
Kareem
Wilt
Russell
Magic
Bird
Oscar
Kobe
Duncan
Shaq

He's in the outside looking in.

2-4

- Not one of those players dragged a team of scrubs to the NBA Finals. Not one.
- Also Kobe Bryant over Tom Heinsohn? Please, 10 NBA Championships (one for each finger) vs 5 NBA Championships (One hand has no rings). Please.

Hey Plainview? Tell me how my a** tastes.

Why do people evaluate talent by looking at the results of a team game? Why not just judge the talent?

Lebron got robbed with the MVP voting.

The best Finals performance of all time.
If Iguodala doesn't play in that series, the Warriors still win.
If Lebron doesn't play in that series, the Warrior win in 4 and each game is over halfway through the 3rd quarter.

If they are going to give it to the best overall player than they need to be consistent with that. Granted it isn't usual for the best player to be on the losing team but it does happen. They can't just start making exceptions for Lebron.

The best finals performance of all time belongs to a player who actually won.

You heard it here first, Dwayne Wade to the Cavs next year + championship.

Well i see someone is happy today that he doesn't have to lie about Jordan being better than Lebron. Cling to the Finals record. Even with a 2-4 record Jordan isn't half the player Lebron is. Overrated isn't even the word to describe MJ's career. Played with a HoF coach and some of the best players in the history of the game. Lebron hasn't had any of those luxuries.

No. This is not right. Advanced stats suggest Jordan and Lebron are very comparable players. Jordan had the better supporting cast around him which is why he won 6 titles. No one can make a valid case for why one player is better or worse than the other.

Advanced stats suggest, that while Kobe is a great player, he's not as good as Jordan or Lebron.

One more thing.

Michael Jordan, considered by many to be the best player of all time, played in 15 NBA seasons, and he retired 3 times. He won 6 NBA championships.

Are we suggesting that Michael Jordan wasn't the best player in the world in 1987? Or what about 1989? I mean, he didn't win any titles in those years. Actually he played in many more seasons in which he didn't win a title than he won in. What does this say about MJ?

Lastly, did MJ quit on those Bulls teams by retiring unexpectedly both times? Is Jordan a quitter?

who exactly were those other players that were some of the best in the history of the NBA that played with Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls? I'm 39 years and grew up in the Jordan era so I'm all eyes here ... I also remember like it was yesterday when Jordan retired the first time to go play minor league baseball , the Chicago Bulls seem to dropped off the face of the earth.

to even compare James to Jordan just downright comical. and the thing is I could not stand Jordan back then. I was and still am a Pistons fan and I hated the guy. however I did certainly respect him. Jordan's athletic ability was off the charts and compared to anybody today it still is. also he was clutch. pressured never bothered that dude. the higher the stakes the better he performed. dude definitely never choked and trust me there was times I was praying he would. Also he played against much more fierce competition than any of these guys do today. And that's a fact.

No. When Jordan retired the first time, Scottie Pippen led the Chicago Bulls to a 55 - 27. So yeah, if Lebron James was added to a team that won 55 games without him, I think he'd be doing OK in the Finals record comparisons.

I'm tired of all the reminiscing that people do. Jordan dominated during your youth so you automatically think he's the greatest of all time. In 20 years, old farts will be doing the same thing with Lebron James.

If Michael Jordan was on another level than Lebron James, it would show up in the stats. It doesn't.
