2014-2015 NBA Off-Season Thread

David West has now joined the Spurs, and Ginobili will be back another year. Read that sources said Cavs, Warriors, and Wizards offered West more money... looks like he wanted to play for the best.

Spurs with a A+ offseason.

Spurs are gonna be unstoppable while setting their future up for after Duncan and Gino's last ride.

This guy knows whats up!

I actually do think KD will leave OKC and go home to Washington. He could help bring some more competition to the East.

That guy that is a T-Wolves fan here... you got KG back! I actually liked KG as a player back in the day and sucks he wasted most of his career with the T-Wolves till he got the ring he deserved with Boston.

I kinda liked Garnett too and then he started being a jackass.

Lost a good deal of respect for DeAndre Jordan today. I thought he was one of the good guys. What he did was a pretty s***ty move. I can understand why he wanted to go back, but, he should never have given a verbal agreement because it caused a chain reaction with what Dallas had to do to secure Jordan being able to sign with Dallas. Then, he acted like a little child by not returning calls, or, granting the decency of calling Cuban, and Parsons, and the rest of the Mavs he met with. That's as much of a bitch move as it gets. I didn't like the LA Prentenders before and this made me dislike them more.

Well almost the entire Clipper team went to Texas earlier this week to give him blow jobs. But yea, he (and maybe his agent) needs to handle his business more professionally.

They should have done that at the first meeting they had. Once they saw he was leaving they swallowed the whole load multiple times. If there's one thing Cuban is is that he's for his players. It was a total dick move.

And, the league is stuck with the CBA for a while so they won't be able to rescind the 8 days rule about signing contracts.

Actually DJ had second thoughts so all emo and s*** and called Doc and his BFF Blake on Monday saying he regretted his decision. According to the media reports and Clippers org., DJ's agent (who is good friend with Cuban BTW) was forcing him to Dallas and making the decision for him. Good move for DJ because no way in hell he's going to win a ring in Dallas with that roster as the #1/#2 option.

But anyway, I'm glad Cuban got burned because he's one of the 3 who f us up on the CP3 Trade. Payback is a bitch lol.

I knew you would respond like that with the Cuban CP3 issue. But it's the Cliprentenders. You're supposed to hate everything about them since you're a Lakeshow fan!

That whole thing was a cluster f***, and DJ's agent did not help either. Kinda hard to be mad at DJ if it was his agent pushing him to Dallas.

I know why he did it, and where his heart is, but, it's such a devastating decision. It's shouldn't be allowe and immature it will be tackled when the next lockout happens in 2017.

I agree they should not give players that long before they sign.

In other news it was reported on PTI today that 15,000 fans showed up to a T-Wolves practice. The hype is building.

Cavs should be scared of the Spurs a experienced Championship winner that has beat James in the Finals.

Would be an epic finals to watch if it does happen.

I guess it's what your definition of "scared" is.

Kevin Love, LeBron James, and Kyrie Irving could all outplay their Spurs counterparts if they're healthy in a Finals matchup.

It's also reasonable to think age related decline could hit Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli harder than the Cavs core.

You are not giving the Spurs enough credit like most that doubt the Spurs every time because they say they are "old".
I think they're the favorite to win the title next year. I just don't think it's going to be a walk in the park against the Warriors or Cavs.

And Timmy D is 54 years old. At some point soon Father Time is going to catch up to him.
