yes I been exploring all over with my 5+ hour session. If you see it..you can go 2 it.. Been climbing huge cannons that look unexplorable but yet hold secrets.

I LOVE games like that! just exploring and then suddenly you come across secrets/caves/hidden treasure etc
The game should be 1080p locked 30fps on switch, that's not asking much for a new console in 2017.
Its 56% higher resolution... I am happy with this plus..some of the special effects are current gen comparable IMO.
I do have a issue though well this is more of a preference type issue... The controls can't be changed and I do not like them..I mean jumping with the X button!? Wth Nintendo

damn! this might be a deal breaker for me, no joke!
I remember a couple games on the OG XB and you couldn't change the controls, really good games as well and no way to change which buttons did what, hated it and didn't play them because of that!
2017 and ALL games should have fully customizable controls.
went looking for a switch today and all 3 stores I went to were sold out and don't know when new stock is in. must be selling well! I would buy the switch just for Zelda, its actually nice to have exclusives once in a while.
I thought there was two control configurations? I think the option is invert jump or something like that.
It struggles to hold 30fps at that resolution though per DF and others. Should be locked 30fps at 720p, I think most would take that over 900p and struggling fps. Game looks great art wise, amazing actually.
Struggles? No a few stutters when going into new areas is what I notice...kinda like frame pacing.
I much rather have it this way with 900p but to each is his own.
Wow they seem to have sold out everywhere in UK. Actually I bet this is better for Nintendo, having a system that's sold out and become sought after rather than having loads left in stock and not selling.

Only loads are when you die (and you will) but even that is only 5-10 second wait. Plus you can scroll through tips while loading. Other than that, nothing.
I think you make a very good point that most of who argue ad naseuam in other threads about console power really just want great games before all the tech stuff.
I don't have near enough time into either game to say which is "better" and when I do it will just be one gamer's opinion...but I will say this...I played Horizon for a good 20 hours before I got Zelda a week ago. Since then I have only played Zelda (and Snipperclips, lol).
I caved in and bought one lol only for Zelda, and mario cart later......

Good timing as well. Finally finished Witcher 3 last night after 128 hours. I will still go back and play as got a few side missions and other stuff to do. But finished the main story and a good chunk of side stuff. Awesome game.
God I love open world RPG's! Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Skyrim etc and can't wait to jump into Zelda later

The game is amazing. I haven't had much time to play but each time I boot it up, I immediately get bummed out because I know I only have an hour or so. Spring Break is coming, though.
