I popped in Drive Club last night... then I was reminded how not-good it is, lol. I had to switch over to FH3 to cleanse the pallet before jumping into the Witcher 3 some more... Damn, that game keeps on giving :D
I used to be on the DriveClub hate wagon pretty bigly. Bought at launch and never even finished the main tour. I know I tried going back a couple other times but just couldn't do it. But for some reason when I tried it again back in January I actually enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong there is still plenty wrong with it, but I think having not played any other races recently might have helped as well. Game just handles so much differently that it might have been hard to switch to DriveClub's style.

I've put a fair bit of time into Drive Club and I consistently find myself less impressed with it every time. The way it plays is just off, imo. It really is a case of graphics not being everything (though I personally find Forza Horizon in HDR to be a more enthralling experience on a whole though It's hard to top DCs lighting).

Finished: Fire Emblem Heroes (iOS), Sky Force Anniversary (PS4), Nier (PS3)

Playing: Uncharted 4 (PS4), Hollow Knight (PC), Castlevania The Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition (PC), The Legend of Heroes Trails of the Sky SC (PC), DriveClub (PS4), NCAA Basketball 2010 (360)

DriveClub is an okay game. Not great, but good for $20 (w/ season pass) I spent on it. I find it to be too easy/casual friendly. Maybe because I came from Dirt Rally. One thing I like is that it looks amazing on my 4K HDR TV.

Trying to juggle Horizon: Zero Dawn and Breath of the Wild at the same time. Doesn't help that Ghost Recon: Wild lands comes out next week. And I still haven't started Halo Wars 2 yet.

Playing Warframe again until Andromeda releases. Game is a grind, but something about it just keeps me coming back.

Didn't really want to make a new thread, but Check out this UE4 tech vid for Borderlands 3!

Man, I hope they have a black and white mode! Looks amazing! I love that crosshatching shader !!

I haven't played a PlayStation exclusive in over 15 years. I'm about to break that streak. Bought a PS Pro during the holidays and have yet to play it. I figure once Scorpio releases, I'll be on that the most so now will be the best time to give PS ecosystem a chance and try getting used to the controller. Haven't used a controller without offset sticks since OG Xbox launched.

This is what I have lined up for the next 6 months:
- Horizon
- MLB The Show
- Last of Us Remastered
- Bloodbourne
- Ratchet and Clank Remake
- Uncharted 4

Think I'll hold off on Mass Effect with hopes there's Scorpio upgrades.

List needs Journey

Bloodbourne became my first official PlayStation game. I thought it would help me adapt to the controller since I beat Dark Souls 3. It took me about 100 hours to finally beat DS3. Bloodbourne might be 200. It is so much harder without paddles. I'm really struggling to adapt to the controller in general.

Moved on to Horizon. Game seems to work better with PS4 controller than Bloodbourne. Don't think I can play a Soulsbourne game without the Elite controller. Paddles are vital to dodge while keeping control of the camera when there multiple baddies around.

Horizon is really impressive. Amazed that these are the same guys behind Killzone. Makes me wish MS would give 343 a shot at something new.

Too Many.

For Honour
FIFA 17
Forza Horizon 3
UFC 2
Miror's Edge 2
Battlefield 1
still trying to dabble with The Division

Am downloading the COD:IW Trial

And next week is the Mass Effect early access.

Thankfully after ME there is nothing till August, so should be able tocatch up a fair bit by then.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate again. This is easily my favourite AssCreed, and the grapple opens the world up, entirely.

And that velvet effect is so good!

I've still got Tales of Berseria (which I started, but the combat and story is just... Kind of bad so far.) And Hollow Knight (which is so Purdy and fun, but it could do with some direction/a narrative make over).

My best friend lent me Just Cause 3, but those loading times put me off. I am not sitting around for that long, just to blow myself up, damnit!

Ooh, and Mirrors Edge 2. Haven't even installed it yet.

Finished: Hollow Knight (PC), The Legend of Heroes Trails of the Sky SC (PC)

Playing: Nioh (PS4), Uncharted 4 (PS4), Castlevania The Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition (PC), DriveClub (PS4), NCAA Basketball 2010 (360)

Balls deep in Horizon Zero Dawn, such a good game.

Yep. Still impressed. Some of the voice acting isn't good and there's a few invisible walls that drove me crazy but otherwise really good. I like that they save visual surprises throughout the game. In most open world games, it's rare that anything visually stands out once you get used to the world. They don't hit you with all the cool stuff right out the gate.

I've been having a blast playing Battlefield 1 with friends lately. Found some guns I like in all classes. A very impressive online shooter with so many nice touches that make you feel like you are in a war.

I'm 20 hours into Fallout 4. It's really starting to open up now. My OCD of collecting everything I come across is drawing out my play time as I'm still early in the game.

Playing Path of Exile (late to party) now, & soon Mass effect Andromeda.

I had Black desert Online donwloaded, but played so far only a sitting, like every MMO I ever play. If I manage another sitting, it will be a milestone.

Other than that, I need to finish Deus Ex.

Thanks for sharing. Amazing what a talented studio & UE4 can achieve.

How's Path of Exile? I'm ready to try it out when it hits consoles.

Got far cry primal on the Ubisoft sale and I'm glad I waited a while to play it. I liked far cry 4 but like a lot of people just got burnt out on the series.

Have been playing with all hud elements off and it's a great experience, want to try more games with as much hud off as I can.

I bought Rocksmith a few weeks ago. It's been a really good experience for me. A friend of mine was given a Fender Squire Strat as a tip, so I bought that off him for $50 new. I think I got the game for $30 or so, with the Realtone cable.

I also picked up some DR Neon multicolor strings, which are the same colors as the game, so that's been extremely helpful!

I love learning some guitar, and I just find it great that Ubi at least is still backing a true learning tool disguised as a game. I know it's been out for a while, but I really wish more companies would provide fun learning tools like this game! The arcade mini-games are a nice touch.

The main game plays much like Guitar Hero / Rock Band, but without that icky "wtf did I just spend my time doing?" feeling afterward. I'm constantly disappointed in Harmonix's decision not to include real guitars into their game, so I really hope Rocksmith actually supports some kind of drum kit in their next game. Ironically, the drums in RB ARE already like the real thing, so leaving out real guitar as an option has been kind of silly, to me.

Oh, and so far I've only bought one song pack (Pixies) and I could see buying a few more of those.

I have this as well. My main problem is that I have an electric acoustic (Martin DCPA 5 Black :D ), and the sound lag can be a bit off-putting. I imagine it would be better with a straight electric. For this reason, I've barely touched it. I should give it another go...
