The 2016/2017 NBA Season Thread

TD you really thought you had a chance in this series? Until the day LBJ retires, it will always be him and then the rest of the East playing for a distant 2nd place.

Makes me wonder what they could have done if Kawhi and Parker would have been healthy for this series. Oh well, hopefully the Finals will be competitive and fun to watch.

Or the East is just trash like always. Shows once again the regular season doesn't matter. NBA should just shorten the season. Obvious the star players want more rest during the year.

The Celtics is by far the worst #1 seed of all-time.

How's that crow taste? Don't ever doubt the heart of a Boston sports team.

Not like we're winning the series without IT though. No Lowry for the Raptors last series. Cavs cakewalk to another Finals.

Fluke win by the Celtics. Smart was playing his ass out. Cavs up by 21 but choked it away because Lebron had a James Harden meltdown.

When Celtics got smoked the other night TD was nowhere to be found... now he comes out of hiding.

It was Friday night. I went out. First playoff game i didn't watch a minute of. Didn't miss much. Saw your hater comments though and laughed. It's hilarious how jealous people are of Boston sports. Even you being a Spurs fan who knows success sound hurt about it.

Celtics gonna get swept! Wrong again. Too bad they had to take out IT to win the series. Oops, i'm not a Spurs or Cavs fan so i won't make that excuse. Next man up. Marcus Smart showed up tonight.

It's the point that you act like your team is better than they really are. Then when they got demolished you vanished. Enjoy your one win though.

By the way no one is jealous of Boston, just get tired of their big headed fans. It's annoying.

Some WCG style posting going on. I like TD but he's acting like there is a chance the Celtics actually win this series. Which there isn't.

Wasnt even going to comment on the whole ghost act when your team loses by 50 but show up when they squeak out the next game, but whatever. Looks like it's going 5.

Go home cavs, you're drunk.

Can't explain it myself. You go into the Boston Garden and you dominate them to the point where the home crowd became completely demoralized. THEN you put on one of the laziest, sloppiest performances I've ever seen.

I'm sure that put a few chuckles on the faces of Warrior fans, but as with every NBA playoff or finals.............it's about who shows up to play. If last year's Lebron shows up at the finals it's going to be an interesting series. If last night's Lebron shows up it's going to be a quick series.

The Warriors really have no room to chuckle at anybody.

With all the talk about the Leastern Conference, the Warriors have faced a cupcake city road to the Finals this year. Two teams that aren't even that good to begin with, missing key players, and then a team missing two Finals MVPs in the Conference Finals. What a joke.

To elaborate, the funniest part is Utah, Portland, Boston, and Toronto aren't even mediocre squads. They're pretty good. Golden State and Cleveland are just that much better. The Spurs could have challenged Golden State, but Kawhi going down ended any hope of that.

I still agree. They probably would have been swept by the Bulls if Rondo doesn't get hurt. Rajon Rondo beating you in 2017. Think about that.

Well i'm sure it had nothing to do with IT losing his sister 24 hours before tip and the team not being focused but yeah. Rondo beating you in 2017 is bad especially since he supposedly had nothing to do with why the Celtics won a championship when he played here. I love when the haters own themselves.

Couldn't of just been a couple fluke games against the Bulls but last night's game was definitely a fluke win. I bet King James drops 42 tomorrow night and all is well in Believeland. Or 2011 Lebron shows up again and he gets salty with the reporters like last night. Stay tuned.

Most likely he will drop 50, Cleveland will roll, and he will still call Kenny Roda a bitch because he is one.

Props to GS they took care of business. Was a good season, too bad injuries hurt them in the Playoffs. If this is Ginobili's last game it was a great career and a lot of fun to watch all these years. He played with a passion. He will be missed.

Celtics definitely didn't roll over. Props. Cavs just too much though.

Should be over in 5 but we'll see. Then onward to getting destroyed by Golden State.
