Battlefield Hardline PS4=900p, Xbox One=720p

Call of Duty, Assasins Creed, Madden, Fifa etc etc... Haven't they all seen big improvements graphically on their second annual releases?

I would just assume that the engine is constantly updated and all improvements would get passed to anyone using the engine. That's clearly not the case here though, but it's surprising that they don't. The framerate is slightly improved I guess, that's about it.
I agree graphics shouldn't affect the price, but how is this game any different than Battlefield 4? New weapons, maps, vehicles? Anything feature wise different than BF4? 10 years ago this sort of thing would have been a reduced priced expansion pack.
Well, the first alpha/beta sucked in my experience. The game looks weird. But I think BF4 looks awesome, probably best looking game on console to date IMO. But something about this Hardline looks like ass. Does it look cartoon maybe?
Battlefield just doesn't feel right on console to me. Not that it is any better on PC now. Just feels like my character is on ice skates or floating around.
Well, it's never been the same to me since Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. Now, I know, I am in the minority in liking that game, but boy do I love that game. JUST LOVED the maps sooo much.
Good memories from that game, especially me and a friend trolling this guy on our team by driving a vehicle at him and jumping out at the last second. He would die but it wouldn't say who killed him.
Because you put time into Destiny to laugh right?10 years a go the BF franchise was one of the greatest FPSs. Since they turned to console though, eh, it has been steadily going down hill.

From what Iv'e played in the Beta...I didn't see anything that set it apart from BF4, visually. I don't understand why they couldn't do 1080P this time? Maybe I needed to play it more.
I'll only get this game if it gets crazy good reviews at least I'll be pumped for it that way. Otherwise, I'm good with BF4!!. And It's good that they're not letting BF4 go. They plan on bringing more maps based on some community vote system or some sh!t. Sounds good to me!

720p club on Xbox One is very small and many are from the launch.

Nah, that's nonsense and you know it. You can't add cops & robbers to a war game. You have to make a completely separate game. And that is just what they did.
Already dropped $120 on the Ultimate Edition. This game will be fantastic. All the Battlefield spin-off games have been fantastic. Sorry you don't agree.
It is exactly what they didn't do. Which is why it isn't very good. A cops and crooks game could have been good but you can't just throw on a cops and crooks skin on Battlefield. I will just stick with BF4.

Negative. If Hardline was released, as is, in 2005, it would make gamers heads explode. I don't think you realize how much better games get over a 10 year period.
No, it's better in regards to visuals, no doubt, but gameplay wise, the game can't hold a candle to BF2. I still have BF2 and occasional jump on....it's the better game.
I also have all the older CoD games installed, and same thing, the older ones are still better. That's not nostalgia....I still play them, so I can speak on them.

It's funny you say that, because the main games in the series are truly a poor mans Battlefield. Bad Company 2 was better than any main release in the series before or after.
