I never knew some people here actually thought this was going to be a good game.
One word.
Nostalgia.
pleasure and sadness that is caused by remembering something from the past and wishing that you could experience it again
Nah, that's nonsense and you know it. You can't add cops & robbers to a war game. You have to make a completely separate game. And that is just what they did.
Already dropped $120 on the Ultimate Edition. This game will be fantastic. All the Battlefield spin-off games have been fantastic. Sorry you don't agree.

720p is the worse off trade. It would have been better if they just toned down the Xbox One graphics and level of detail instead of the resolution. 720p is pretty ugly, especially on larger TVs.
You are right about that. Cops and robbers is unrealistic in a war game. Let's add zombies instead!
Yeah, 720p and 900p are ass, 100%. So is 30fps.900p isnt ass
I still remember buying expansions for Battlefield 2. And I still remember going to EA's website to download executables for the latest patches for online play. It's weird thinking about gaming of the past.I agree graphics shouldn't affect the price, but how is this game any different than Battlefield 4? New weapons, maps, vehicles? Anything feature wise different than BF4? 10 years ago this sort of thing would have been a reduced priced expansion pack.
The way i see it, EA is paying for the servers, and so we have to pay for the games. I think it's fair. And paying $60 is definitely nicer than having to paying $8,000,000/year or whatever their cost is for those servers. I definitely don't envy EA's position to have to pay all of this. Can't believe people are buying a cops and robbers BF mod. Oh well, maybe this DLC in disguise will hold off some until the real deal hits...
BATTLEFRONT
I agree with the others who said BF:BC2 was a great game, I found it to be a lot more fun than BF3 and BF4 to be honest.
BC1 & BC2 were not great Battlefield games. However, they were never meant to be. They were a spin-off with a healthy helping of Battefield ethos, and it worked, it worked very well. Both the Bad Company games were very good games.
Which brings me back to a point I made before. They should have stuck with that original plan of keeping Battlefield on PC only and keeping the Bad Company spin-off on consoles.
Sure do, Almost 20 million Destiny accounts have been made and many of the sites that ratedGot higher metacritic score
lolz, you have nowhere to go.
With record breaking beta numbers many did.I had a lot of fun with the beta.
Day 1 for me.
Was that really their plan? I have read people online saying that it should be that way before but I don't remember ever seeing anything from EA or DICE that said that. I could have easily missed that though so I'm not saying you are wrong, I just don't remember it myself.

it soso are STILL playing it non stop with weekly videos of them raiding/nightfalling.
AND its a NEW franchise!
WOW
BC2 was the best BF game ever made.
EA was smart to move away from the old stagnate style.
BF4 is also a great game but was unfortunately plagued with issues early on.
Still made more money then any other BF game if I am not mistaken the last few BF's are EA's biggest money making franchise.
COD is becoming less and less popular where BF's fan-base is growing.

Link?BF4 sold less than BF3. That seems more like losing popularity
That takes you nowhere.
I definitely remember them saying that. They were going to do Bad Company for the story stuff, and BF would keep doing it's thing. Was that really their plan?
