Because they want you to use the mechanic the game was designed around. If you don't want to use that mechanic, there are... 7 other Call Of Duty games without it that you can play.
85% of the time I do play the standard list, but the classic list was nice a change of pace now & again. The standard mode can sometimes be too hectic. Even so, why change the classic list, there is no reason for it. Like activision actually care if you use the Exo suit or not.
It just adds more fuel to my theory of Activision doing all they can to see just how much bulls*** gamers will take.
So does this mean I cant go straight to classic game? have to go through the mosh pit play list? When I got my assault weapons mastery I used the classic play list for the head shots challenge. Its a right pain trying to get 80 headshots in standard when everyone is bunny hoping like their arse is on fire.
Yes & no. It is still there but via mosh pit, which is basically all the modes randomly.
No clue why they did it. Hope they come to their senses and change it quickly.
Well, if they are just putting mosh pit in, and there is no TDM only mode in classic, then I guess I am done playing COD AW. Serious.
That sucks. I haven't played anything but TDM in COD games over the years. (maybe a little kill confirmed, which is still the same thing basically). Objective modes in COD with randoms... no thanks. At least with TDM I can do my thing.
There's nothing like running into a party camping B in domination to pad their k/d ratio when you are playing solo.
The only reason I buy COD is for TDM.

You know, when I first got AW, I thought Ghosts would remain the worse....but gotta say, I'm really beginning to hate AW.
Mind you, I think Ghosts is a bad CoD game.....but I feel that with all the stupid jumping and exo abilities in AW, that it's not even really a CoD game. For crying out loud, just go back to basic combat, awesome map designs, etc.
I think the AW campaign is amazing. Just picked it up again this weekend. graphics are ball dropping
It was one of the better CoD campaigns. Unfortunately the multiplayer just didn't keep me hooked this time around. Neither did Ghosts. I hope Black Ops 3 gets the job done. I have faith since BO is my favorite.
All we can hope for man is that black ops 3 doesn't take the same concept as this game.The announced trailer they revealed in april had many thinking that exo's were returning to the game when people saw double jumping

I mean, I have nothing against those mechanics in other games. Halo and Titanfall already do futuristic better. Call of Duty used to be all about real world mechanics. I know people will say it's just the natural progression of going into the future, and I call horse s*** on that. 40 years from now, we will NOT be seeing stupid s*** like exo suits, crazy jumping, super human speed, etc. It's r******d in this kind of game to say the least.
Pretty much all CoDs, although combat exaggerated, stayed somewhat in the realm of reality, until this game came out.
Seriously, leave this futuristic George Jetson stuff to Halo and Titanfall. Those games are perfect for that.
This series just went from familiar combat to off the wall crazy crap.
