It will be in the September beta. Starts the 10th.
I rpe-ordered, tried my code, said it was already used, so I gave up. Will cancel order and pre-order digital from Xbox digital store to get into it.
I think the 10th is the date PS4 players get to play. Don't think they have said when other platforms get their opportunity.

Trailer looks interesting and could be a really fast paced BR mode gameplay wise. I was waiting to see how good the beta is before I decide to pre-order.

Saw some streamers playing. It looks like they pulled this off, I had my doubts. But it looks good.
I just do Amazon and then cancel the order once I get the code.
If I preorder off the MS store does it charge my card right away? I really want to try this out when the One beta starts and if I don’t like it is it easy to cancel a digital preorder?

No, just pre-order on Amazon...no card is charged.....get your code for the beta....cancel the pre-order. Then order on the MSFT account later when you want to.
Ok, some real impressions now.
- Game looks and runs great on the base PS4. Resolution at distance feels a little vasoliney but it's not too much of a bother.
- The TTK is quuiiiick.
- My God I hate the bobble while sprinting effect.
- I think 1st person games excell with in your face combat. Games like Quake, Overwatch etc...If hiding, stealth, gathering Intel before you engage benefits your game, third person is the way to go. I think BR lends itself to 3rd person.
- My biggest problem is the down time. Engagements don't seem to last that long so there's a lot of non action and traversing the map isn't very engaging.
- PUBG is in trouble this holiday season due to this. Fortnite will be fine.
I'll keep playing it this week and we'll see how my impressions change.
