As much as I enjoy this BR and it is smooth and good. I'm a BF guy and I pray it is at least this good. Otherwise it could be DOA. The conquest at least will still rock.

First match with two buddies our first guy died immediately and the two of us made it to 3rd place I had 4 kills. This plays surprisingly well and the shooting feels better than PUBG. Just trying to get the inventory and buttons down. Like it so far.
I think they said they nerfed level 2 and 3 armor already. It still needs another big nerf though.
Do you guys like how they handle supply drops? In 10+ hours of playing I think I picked up 1 of them. I just never see them dropping.
Starting to get a little better. When you run into someone with armor just always aim for the head. Taking out people with armor now. Just came in 2nd on solo was soooo close!

I played my last match of the Blackout beta. Won't be checking in again till full release.
I'm not sure if any of you realize this but Blackout isn't great. It's essentially a better running PUBG. You know, PUBG, the game that's been hemorraging players since February due to, wait for it... game design issues. PUBG had the luxury of being the first BR for a lot of people, which allowed Bluehole to get away with a lot of design mistakes. Blackout doesn't have that luxury.
The Blackout hype will burst soon after launch (October 12th) for a few reasons. One, PUBG, Blackout, and BFV will all look and play relatively similarly, and as such, will spread players across 3 games. Two, Blackout is the bell of the ball right now because there aren't any hotly anticipated new releases to draw attention away. Come October and November, that changes.
Here's what Treyarch whiffed on...
Looting is a chore.
Map traversal is a chore/bore.
Matches last too long.
Combat is too repetitive.
This game simply don't have it. Don't be a prisoner of the moment.

Would play this over Fortnite any day. Game is good. They just need to make a couple tweaks.

Fixed it for you.
PUBG was a gen 1 Battle Royale. It was essentially a proof of concept.
Fortnite feels like a gen 2 Battle Royale. It sanded down many of the rough edges of PUBG and added a few things that compliment this type of game.
Blackout feels like a gen 1 Battle Royale. It runs great but that's about it.
I'm not sure you can come to the party this late in the game and be a gen 1 BR. At this point it's gen 2 or higher.
It has the best combat.
The best map.
The best looting.
The 3 most important tennents of Battle Royale.
Time will prove I'm right (again). Blackout will launch with a lot of fanfare and will fizzle out relatively soon after.
