Captain America: The Winter Soldier [New poster included!]

Really looking forward to this. First one was great and I was extremely happy to know that they'll be making more of these. Completely forgot what it was going to be about, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the general story will be.
 
Winter Soldier is pretty good Cap tale, so they have some quality source material to use. I'm looking forward to it.
 
Captain America is right up there with Batman as my all-time favorite super heros (still waaaaaaay behind Buffy tho). I still remember the Captain America TV show I watched and loved as a kid. So yeah, I'm looking forward to this almost as much as Avengers 2.

Looks like a predictable story, but I was excited to see Winter Soldier in there...especially the last shot in that trailer.

Huh? Redford is playing Pierce and while a villain he is not Red Skull, most likely he is actually Lukin. I meant the comic backstory between Bucky Barnes and Captain america. Bucky is Winter Soldier in the present day. Nothing in the trailer suggested he recognized who Winter Soldier was..so that kind of worries me lol.

The inclusion of Falcon was a nice touch though

Not really, other than being the villain he fights with Cap, Zemo was the one who had the plane with the bomb on it that Bucky tried disarming, sending him to the sea and giving him amnesia..The russians made him Winter Soldier.

In the comics Lukin has Winter Soldier assassinate Red Skull in the present-ish day, but the cube sends his mind into Lukin. Other than controlling Winter Soldier in the present day via Lukin, Red Skull doesn't have much else to do with his backstory I think. Not sure if the upcoming movie is going to have Lukin as himself or as the Lukin/Red Skull combo version, if Pierce is indeed a cover name for Lukin

I like how they portrayed Falcon in the one shot, at least, and the updated cap uniform is an improvement over avengers for sure
 
So does the trailer hint at
Crossbones being in this or a later film?
 
I didn't have great hope for this movie. The first one was, ok. But this looks fantastic.

That kinda of goes with my theory that Red Skull will show up. They could easily have him come back as when Loki came through the Teseract(sp) portal in Avengers. They could have winter soldier team up with Cap to take down Red Skull at one point.

Crossbones could be there just to set up cap.

Well the theory that I think is the what is going on is that Peirce is actually Lukin, controlling Winter Soldier. This may be after the cube sent Red Skulls mind into Lukin's. If Cap gets ahold of the cube he will use it to restore Bucky's memories..but no idea if that is what is going on in the movie, in fact as I said earlier the trailer didn't hint at all if Cap recognized Winter Soldier as Bucky

Frank Grillo is playing Brock Rumlow. He also one of the guys to get beat up by CA in the lift.
