I’m expecting around a 7 and don’t really give a s*** what it rates as long as it is fun.

I’m sure Val is patiently waiting and will hit with full troll force. “We attack at dawn!!!”

I'm sure the HDR does look great, the lights are going to be the star of the show graphically for this game IMO, it was something that was missing when it was first shown a couple of E3's ago but after they delayed it and added it that helped make a difference. Overall it's not an impressive looking game but the lighting does look really good.

If it was fun it would rate good.

We already expect low scores and nobody is to blame but the devs.

If it don't get slaughtered to bad and they drop the price(plus hurry up with the mp)
I'll buy it.

Was hoping this game would turn out good (it was becoming the Xbox version of Half-Life 3), but if it turns out and bombs it really is a troubling sign.
How long was it in development for??
3 years? 4?
:really:

Many more years than that. It was announced 5 years ago so I would assume it was in development prior.

I think developers are aware that Microsoft is desperate for AAA exclusives and if they pitch their game as something unique with huge potential they can ride the MS gravy train for a few years. This is a prime example.

I'd wait until its out in the wild before you write it off, honestly. The MP is crazy good! I've seen streams today on the campaign and that looks incredible too. It went through development challenges but it genuinely looks like they nailed it, Big Time!

There's a lot of hate out there for the game tho! A Lot!

I don't think anyone pitched this to MS, this seems more like something they would have brought someone in to do, they brought in more than one studio to work on this so it seems more like it was their idea. There have been like two or three studios who worked on various components of this game and I could be wrong but they are all pretty mediocre at best so this was probably meant to be a low cost title that helped them show off what their "cloud" computing could do and things ended up not going smoothly, I have no doubt that this game would have been cancelled had they not already cancelled two announced titles, they just didn't want to talk about another cancelled project because of bad PR. I'm not saying that the game can't turn out to be good either but it's pretty clear this wasn't meant to be a AAA title and it still isn't, it just took forever to make for various reasons. .

More like 7 to 8 years or there about.

1. Fun is subjective.

2. What number would it need to be considered fun?

Really not diggin the mission structure here. Everything leading up to the boss is the same repetitive thing, and the boss looks very easy to beat and uninterestin and continues the same repetitive loop.

Why not just make the boss harder and remove the reputive multistage part of it.

Sadly my Xbox never recovered from the update issues 2 weeks ago so it's got to be sent off. So I'll have to wait to play my copy.
