Read that earlier. All those changes make sense.

All I want now is a significant super damage buff and I am good.

Also hope weapon rolls are better in the full game, cause they kind of suck for PvE in the beta.

Yep, I think with the changes they already mentioned that won't be a problem. The beta seems to be in a weird spot. We seem high level/powered, but with junk guns. They need to make the beta fun and challenging, but not so hard that people get frustrated. I'm sure it will be fixed for the final version.

Also f*** the jumping puzzle in the 1st mission.

It felt like work to me. Also it can be done on destiny 1 like how diablo 3 putting all their add-ons in 1 game.

That's exactly what a loot game is.

Why would you think there was more to do in the beta. Not only was the beta content known for weeks, but it is a beta not a game trial.
Just thought I'd see more story components, like the Destiny 1 Beta. I understood the limit in content. I just wanted to see something different that would drive me to get excited about it.

There are going to be perks on armor that will decrease grenade recharge rate for example.

Me personally I'm fine with the way the game is at the moment, I just don't want them to split the community just to please the PVP folks.

Played the story mission in the beta for a short time, I know I'm playing on the Pro now vs playing on the standard PS4 for the first game but this really looks like they've improved the graphics quite a bit. The lighting and particle effects stand out a lot compared to the first game and the textures look better as well.

Playing on the X1 and yeah I have to agree. The lighting, particle effects, character models, animations and textures are all vastly improved over from what we had in D1.

I played through the story mission once with the Warlock and again with the Hunter. I have to play once more with the Titan but so far just like the first game the Warlock is my favorite class. Bungie is really good at crafting those spectacular moment to moment action set pieces. I really liked the cutscenes those are done well and even the big badguy had some life to him even if he comes off like some sort of Warhammer 40k villain. I haven't played the Strike or competitive multiplayer but I'll try that later.

Overall it feels a lot like Destiny with prettier graphics with the same tight gameplay. I was surprised to have a primary weapon with a burn type. Elemental weapons were some of the most powerful weapons in the first game and required completion of some of the hardest activities to get. The exotic Arc SMG felt very similar to one from the first game but thanks to improved overall graphics the chain lightning effect looks awesome.

A nice slice of Destiny 2. It should be another hit for Bungie.

yeah, the Riskrunner is like a baby Zhalo Supercell. Of all the beta weapons the Riskrunner is the only one I will actively try and get in the. full game.

They really do. The clothing on the Hunter is a vast improvement over D1, as are the character and weapon models in general.

The particle effects hit me like a truck. Love making things explode or disintegratin foes with a nade. I sure do miss these effects when I fire up D1.

Woot! Got my Hunter cloak to complete the alternate armor set:banana:

Was checking how much time I spent playing the beta and was surprised at the 15 hours spent...That is all strike too. Only played 2 Crucible.

Playing it on my PS Pro (campaign I assume) this morning. I got to an area where I was fighting against waves with others and it wouldn't end! Then my son took over and found we had to go through another door. I was fighting them for an hour!!!!!!

Is there a central hub like the citadel?

Yea, its a town outside the last city. supposed to evolve over game play. Its also supposed to have more interactive stuff to do like soccer with core keeping.

Oh and i think the player cap is now 25.

Pretty sure there will be multiple hubs this time round, one on each major planet.

They are going to open the Farm hub in the European Deadzone today(Sunday) for one hour...pretty sure it opens 10 am Pacific / 6pm GMT.

I do like the campaign stuff. I'm just curious as to how much of it there is. I have 0 interest in the Competitive/Crucible stuff.

I'm still holding back at this point.

Yep. Day one. Really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would.
Yep.

Althoug, I am still not a fan of the weapon slot system. And the 4v4 Crucible change is terrible and really didn't provide fun for a casual PvPer.

Was I wrong about the campaign having waves of enemies during one of the objectives that INCLUDED online players or was that AI helping me?
