It's obviously showing that my posts are more quality than his. All he does is whine about how the Wii U isn't getting enough attention and how Microsoft did him wrong or whatever his deal is. I know you guys are on the Xbox One hate wagon together but come on now.

I'd venture to give this a big no. If anything it'll just run on an updated engine with updated visuals or assests from Halo 4.

Just like i'd challenge you or anyone else to prove that i'm this horrible two faced person who hates on one console on one board and another console on another. I keep hearing that claim but then there's no actual evidence. Just a bunch of "this is the pinnacle" posts and what not. All i do is show my genuine enthusiasm for all consoles and give my opinion.

You guys act like i created the words pinnacle and apex. Like it's a slur word or something that i created and it's against the law to use it. I had no idea that calling Call of Duty the pinnacle of first person shooters would ruffle so many feathers. It's just text on a monitor. I don't get it.

Why do i get the feeling that because astro doesn't post anymore or Flynn isn't here it's beat up on TD night? Still trying to figure out what i did wrong to upset people. All i do is play games, and give opinions on them. I can't guarantee that you'll agree with me but at the same time i don't call you out and throw around personal attacks and get all upset about what you guys have to say either. So i'd appreciate the same respect back.

I do not like the kinect at all, but now that I see people buy them on ebay for $80-100, I will get one eventually. I almost bought one last night for $400 from amazon, if it was the Titanfall bundle I probably would have.

You guys ? I never said a thing, other to laugh at your measuring stick of quality. You called me an xbox hater for nothing and based on nothing and you have the cheek to be offended, lolz. Take your poorly formed butthurt else where.

Whatever, lol. I've been sending the same message since 3 years ago at TXB. So i don't know what Jay's deal is. Other than him, only ZombiesAreUmad and like one other poster has gotten upset at me. I guess most people have better things to do or they're actually not offended by someone's opinion. Who knows.

My 2 cent is, you cannot blame people from being skeptical. So far there is a lot of talks, but not so much end results. I don't think anyone in the right mind is saying all these didn't work, but people are skeptical if they are so game changing for xbox one.

People are not saying these tech guys are lying, but rather if they inflated some of the stuff a little. This is the gaming industry, making inflated claim ain't exactly uncommon. Sony have made very inflated claims on their PS2 & PS3 hardware like Cell before, & every other developer on their game.

I am not a technical guy when it comes to PC hardware, many people ain't. All we need is to be shown.

I do not think anyone will be skeptical (except fanboys) if MS show say KI, running at 1080/60 using DX12 & SDK2.

If EA, or Konami, go on stage, & say, we have worked with MS, here is what we wanted to show, its a short demo, but this is what you can expect in our next game. Then they proceed to show a demo of battlefield or Ground zero, running 1080p/60 & maybe some added effect not possible before with the improvements. On X1 of course. That's all I need to believe.

If MS wanted to convince the average person the improvement, this is what they should do. Show.
Yes, I know someone will say, nay, there will still be Naysayers. Of course there will be, but these will be just fan-boys, & not people genuinely wanted to be convinced.

Not whatever. You show outrage when such things are directed at you and yet hold no issue with blurting out the same to others.

3 years ? is that how long it has been see the abundance of fanboy taunts swayed you to go on this contradicting crusade of positivity of all things gaming. How time flies. unfortunately for you, memories do not fleet as fast as time does.:p

So people are fanboys because of their lack of needing to be convinced? This makes zero fcking sense, sorry brotha.


If you weren't convinced of the One as a system from Day One, nothing is going to convince you now. Not even an updated SDK with some performance enhancements generating some possible resolution changes.

Because personally, I'm ok with 900p or 720p if the muscle can be utilized to show even crazier effects and do even more in the game scene. I know everyone wants 1080p across all the games, and I understand why. But personally, if they can make Ryse look better than it already does at the resolution it's at ; why sacrifice that?
 
I remember when people played games because they were fun, not because of their resolution and fps. Those were the days. No jerk offs touting superiority, or detractors who thought they were engineers, just people playing games, specs be damned. Ugh, if only gamers these days weren't such jaded snobs.

People should stop confusing the resolution issue with DX12 as the fix. The resolution issue will be fixed in the next DX11.2 SDK. At the moment game engines are ported from the Xbox 360 to Xbox One and still using the old method of rendering in the ESRAM. The new SDK will allow overflow to main RAM which should solve the problem. The PS4 obviously doesn't have this issue because of GDDR5 for main RAM. So parity with PS4 maultiplats will be sooner than you think.

I think you misread my post bro.

When I said Naysayer, I meant Sony Fanboys. I never mentioned ( & did not cross my mind) in my post that people not needing to be convinced as being fanboy. I was just saying some people liked to see more evidences then others, to be convinced of something. Especially in the gaming industry where inflated claims were fairly frequent occurances.

If people feel there is no further need for them to be convinced of the improvement, then its fine. :)

I was just trying to explain why many people are skeptical, & just being skeptical doesn't mean one is a hater.

If my favorite sport star say he is the best in the world, just because I do not believe him, doesn't mean I dislike him now. We as fan, would rather he show us if he is the best. I think yu get my point.

Also, I have to disagree with you about not convince on day one on a product, means you will forever not be convinced. I can name many examplse of products I weren't convincing on day one, but eventually bought them down the line. Either they improved a lot, price dropped to a value I feel worthy, or I found its value to give a few examples.

Its the duty of product seller to convince potiential customers of it value. :)

What gets me the most on here are those who lament fanboy mentality when they are the same people who I know exactly what their take on either console's news will be before I even read their post. They claim to be unbiased, some pointing out continually they own both, but their post history shows a huge lean in one direction. I personally have little interest in calling them out because of my other forum pet peeve being few ever admit they were wrong about anything and go into super defense mode by creating strawman arguments or resorting to personal insults. Then there are those who just love to push buttons because they eat that kind of s*** up. Too much drama and mayhem for people that are here for mainly the same reason...we enjoy video games.

To be honest, if I go by a large percentage on this site, and other message boards around the web like NeoGaf, IGN, or Game Trailers, id say the majority of gamers would rather bitch about system specs, and resolution then they would actually discuss an actual game, and by game I mean everything about it other than its graphics. That's just the truth. It really has turned into a Hatfields vs McCoys in the X1 vs PS4 camps. Whats sad is that it always devolves into 720p vs 1080p, or 60fps vs 30fps. The thing is, neither of those things can make a game good, or even ultimately make a game better. A good game is still a good game at minimum or maximum specs, and a bad game is bad in the same way. You cant convince trolls of this though, because to them GWAPHIKS is that's all that matters.

I don't usually pipe in on these conversations but my two cents are, I think the gamers that want to discuss games and not tech specs are mostly quiet. Like myself to some degree, I do read some of the post but I find more often than not they litter threads like this one.
 
I'm all for discussion, but when the same arguments are being made again and again, it does get tedious to read.

Also, if you want to personal insult someone, don't. At least here. You can email or text them insults. I can' t don't care about that.
