do you feel bad about eating meat?

umm.. i said starve "instead of eating meat". that's perfectly in-line with what you stated -- which was that only people who have never starved can be picky about their diet , yet the vegan/vegetarian position has nothing to do with starvation -- it's about having a choice, and then choosing not to eat meat.
No, my statement was about living in the lap of luxury, never having gone hungry a single day of their lives, having the idle time to become idiosyncratic about food choices.

you stated: "Go hungry for a week and you'll be surprised how quickly the mind rationalizes your moral scruples away."

and i'm saying is that vegan/vegetarianism isn't about necessity, it's about choice. most vegan/vegetarians would rather eat meat than starve to death, given those being the only 2 options -- and thats perfectly understandable! but the point is that they are not the only 2 options for many many people, because people can now survive whilst not eating meat.

thats all im pointing out! :)

Vegatarianism is about simple choice. Veganism is more like a religious cult.

The s*** we do to vegetables is pretty sick too, you gotta admit.

I'm just coming at this vegan thing here. You can't have honey apparently, no dairy, nothing from a living being? Vegetables are living beings though, but I guess they don't have brains to think. Wonder what bees think about aside from making honey?

Bees LOVE to make honey! That's what they do!!!! Why don't you want to enjoy that?

I think vegans are behind Monsanto tbh.

I don't watch videos of animals beating brutalized. So my conscience is clean.

Besides, meat is awesome.

From wikipedia:
Veganism /ˈviːɡənɪzəm/ is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, as well as following an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of sentient animals. A follower of veganism is known as a vegan.
Distinctions are sometimes made between different categories of veganism. Dietary vegans (or strict vegetarians) refrain from consuming animal products, not only meat but, in contrast to ovo-lacto vegetarians, also eggs, dairy products and other animal-derived substances. The term ethical vegan is often applied to those who not only follow a vegan diet, but extend the vegan philosophy into other areas of their lives, and oppose the use of animals or animal products for any purpose.[4] Another term used is environmental veganism, which refers to the avoidance of animal products on the premise that the harvesting or industrial farming of animals is environmentally damaging and unsustainable.[5] For most vegan's it's a moral choice. It's a non theistic religion.

I had a buddy that's vegan. He just finds animals to be disgusting in general and doesn't want to eat them. He had a funny joke about vegetarians being liars though. He didn't eat anything that came from animals or insects. Good guy.

I like a salad as much as the next guy, but there's got to be some chicken in it. Eggs don't hurt either.

I actually enjoy a salad by itself, but when I add some stuff in, it's usually cheese or tofu. I did add pepperoni with tofu to a salad the other day. Bunch of sliced up peppers too.

When I was in college and I'd go to the dining hall, my favorite part would be the salad bar actually. I'd load that thing a mile high.

Are you the one who puts pudding in his salad?

Also, your college had a salad bar? Damn vending machine schools.
Haha, no I don't take it that far.

I thought all schools had salad bars...
