EA Access on Xbox One.

Got hooked up with a code! Downloading Madden and BF4 rot now! My wife is going to be PISSED she's going to bed alone tonight.....LOL. Going to go get my pillow for the couch right now. f*** it.

EDIT: j/k I'm not EVEN that brave. I'd wake up with bruises from head to foot in the morning like, "WTF?!?"

So i heard Sony said they don't see value in EA Access? Can't believe the success of the PS4 has already gone to their heads after last gen. Oh well, their loss is Microsoft's gain. This is going to be huge for the Xbox One.

Well they do have a lot more consoles sold with PS+ and PS Now. So, I can kind of understand their stance at this point. However, something like this can turn things around quickly if they arent careful....

Doesn't appeal to me that much. Don't really like subscription models unless it's really mandatory.

In the Vault, as in, for free?!
No. I thought they were free, but no. Vault games carry a label "Vault" beneath them. Those without are discounted priced games. I wish though...;)

Pretty crazy. At first it was just the four titles in the vault. And then I went to check download and came back, and two more titles were there... At least they're there though, right? :)

I got so excited. Not cool, bro. :( Hope these games come out for free.

Yeah, exactly. It's not going to make or break anything but EA Access is a step in the right direction for the Xbox One. Just imagine if Microsoft had exclusive rights to Fifa or Madden. It would be all over.

MS did not fire anything. They threw no punches. Sony refused it.

Sony claims they refused it... but I don't necessarily take an non-credited, defensive PR remark as scripture... and frankly, Sony has one of the worst records of anyone in the industry, in terms of telling fibs and half-truths.

It's highly possible that Sony isn't doing it because they can't.

Thought I'd try redeeming the code from Xbox.com but it won't work so I'm assuming you have to do it from your console? Guess I'll have to wait until we get home on Saturday.

It be interesting once Amazon/Gamestop get these EA Access cards especially Amazon to see if it sells like hotcakes or not...

I think it'll be a huge success long as they promise games won't be removed from the Vault, especially once the library gets bigger.

I was watching a video of the PS now service ,and apparently Sony does think 3 bucks for 4 hours of playing a single game over their stream service is a good value.
But EA has it wrong?
Heck, id much rather pay 30 dollars and be able to download whats in the vault for 12 months.

I thought that the Sega channel was a pretty cool service back in the day.
I see no downside to this unless EA keeps certain things exclusive to the service.

Yeah I think its funny... I mean even Redbox is better.... At least Redbox you get all day for 2$. I don't see how PS Now is a good value if those prices stay the same as they are now.

Honestly, there is no take to be had. It's a service being offered and people can choose to use it or not. It is all choice. Sony doesn't offer the choice. That is all.

Anything else is scapegoating, bias, dishonesty and/or denial. Discussion on the service is what should be taking place; not why Sony has it or not.
Speaking of which, why are they making statements about it and how it's bad value when their PS Plus charges you $3 to play one game for 4 hours. Talk about bad value

OH SNAPS!!! GUESS WHAT JUST POPPED UP IN THE VAULT?! :B->:

NBA Live14
Need for Speed Rivals
PvZ

NfS Rivals is for sale at $53.99 PvZ is $35.99

Pretty high price if you ask me. If EA want to curb used games they are going to have try a bit harder.

It would be amazingly stupid to say such a thing ( they refused it) on the web and allow companies like MS and EA to shame them. Why they refused it, not clue. You could be right, maybe they are unable to do such a thing, but that is besides my point.
