A story that directly follows the story of a previous work is sequel. Even if time travel is a part of the narrative.

Back to the Future Part 2 is still a sequel, despite going back to the exact same locations.

The plot of Remake is that Sephiroth is trying to have a do over. That makes it a sequel in my eyes.

And done. Not bad. PS app shows 46 hours. FF16 was way better though which was a 9/10 for me. This would be a solid 7/10.

I might be wrong, but Chapter 13 is HUGE. Maybe double that of 7?

Wonder how "sharp" output looks in performance mode

With the new patch I'm playing on performance mode - sharp. The IQ looks better to my eyes and also battle system feels much more responsive.

Almost 28.5 hours and still on chapter 7

I'm over 34 hours in now and still in Chapter 8 lol

It's going to take me over 50 hours for sure to beat the game I feel. Plus the platinum stuff, all games should have the content already in the game like this for $70 games, this should be the gold standard.

Near the end of Chapter 8 with 40 hours done. I am going to do some side stuff now as some of the later bosses are insane and tough.
