Oculus is going to announce the next development kit. Book it!

Doesn't seem like a bioshock talk makes a lot of sense seeing how they closed the studio for the most part.

Peter? rebirth eh? eh...

do they allow us old people there? lol
I would love to go, as well

Adam Orth, "Destructive power of opinion and online community"

That's the session I want to see. It is going to really interesting to hopefully hear his side of the story from last year's Twitter drama and fallout.

Not matter the trouble (like layoff) of this industry, its very nice that developers can openly share their knowledge.

Just yesterday, I was reading about GDC 2013 (I think) modular level design for skyrim article.

Of the session highlights I would love to go to 3 of them:
  • Talks on Kinect, Smartglass, and what's new for Xbox Live
  • Misogyny, Racism, and Homophobia," by Bioware's Manveer Heir
  • Adam Orth, "Destructive power of opinion and online community"

Should be more like, Adam Orth, "Destructive power of being a dick on social media sites and the consequences of ignorance."

I'd probably try to go to all of them. I love that sort of stuff -- conferences, speeches, discussions, etc.. I'm hoping that Sony's VR headset makes an appearance, too. GDC awards as well (I'll assume TLoU will take home GOTY).

Its about knowledge sharing, not trying to sell a game. So its relevant.

Stupid question, but anyone know if the conferences will be streamed or somehow viewable online?

I'm not really getting my hopes up for any really shocking news. I'm going in with low expectations so if we do see anything cool this week I can be pleasantly surprised.

I really hope Sony's VR glasses show up. I'm curious about that. Even if it's a couple of years away from being ready and or affordable.
