Well, its not the gameplay that FH2 were being discussed here. Its sale. It supposely not selling very well.Really don't know why Horizon is getting so much hate, freaking awesome game.

It supposedly IS selling well.Well, its not the gameplay that FH2 were being discussed here. Its sale. It supposely not selling very well.
Only curious, you have any data to show? I would like it to sell well as well, but the game is no way near the top 10, or even in the chart. It supposedly IS selling well.
If you saw Wolf King, he alone posted the leaderboards at 700k on the Xbox One. If the game truly does hit the million mark this holiday with only 7 million consoles sold to consumers...and being a RACING game, that means it is selling VERY well.Only curious, you have any data to show? I would like it to sell well as well, but the game is no way near the top 10, or even in the chart.
Just say its correct, I would put 700k at maybe ok. Not bad or good.
Yes, racing game wasn't as popular in NA, but racing game can sell well. The issue is, the market for racing game is mainly in Europe, & this greatly affect FH2 sales, as X1 is doing nto well in Europe.
By contrast, a critically panned Drive club manage to breeze 1 miilion in just a week, probably due to its very much bigger customer base for racing genre.
According to Gamepur,
http://www.gamepur.com/news/16569-driveclub-sold-1-million-units-first-week-outsold-forza-horizon-2-21-margin.html
According to reports coming out from Insiderp, DriveClub on PlayStation 4 sold over ONE Million units within a week of its launch. The site reports that the most surprising part of DriveClub was digital sales figure, over 70% of game's sales came via digital transactions and over 70% of game's sale came from Europe.
In addition to this, during DriveClub's launch week (as of October 12), PlayStation 4 outsold Xbox One by a massive margin of 5:1 in Europe. PlayStation 4 managed to sold 96,000 units (around 16% sales came from DriveClub Bundle), whereas Xbox One only sold 19,700 units.
In comparison to Forza Horizon 2 Xbox One launch week sales, DriveClub beats it by a margin of 3:1 worldwide. The full breakdown Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub Worldwide sales as of October 12 are listed below.
These are not the official figures so we advice readers to take it with massive grain of salt and consider it as rumor, but insiderp has been pretty accurate with their previous sales figure report of PlayStation 4.
- Forza Horizon 2: 489,000 Units
- DriveClub: 1 Million Units.

I just hope they earn enough to
a) make a profit
b) have a sequel.
I like a good game to do well, regardless of platform, but I am not really seeing it here. If MS came out & say, its selling as or better than expectation, then its good.

Careful, Plainview will challenge you to prove PS4 sell twice as much as X1.Wait, you mean the hardware that has twice the install base sold twice as many games
That's cool. Many say it's great. Just depends on personal opinion on what one thinks is good or bad sales for a racing game compared to the console install base.
Careful, Plainview will challenge you to prove PS4 sell twice as much as X1.
Anyway, I was explaining, despite critical acclaim, why it disn't sell as much, & its not a case of racing games do not sell. PS4 having more customers for a genral reasons, but more specific, racing is more popular this side of the pond, & X1 is NOT selling well here, with report of PS4 selling muliple times of X1 in major markets in Continental Europe.
Lets hope so.Based on the great sales, great reviews, consistent support for DLC and bug fixes and longevity of the game, no doubt we will see a 3rd Horizon.
Wait, you mean the hardware that has twice the install base sold twice as many games
So does that mean DC is on the same level as Forza Horizon?
No, Horizon worked day one, DC did not
Well when you have no other games to choose from on the PS4.....So even more impressive? A worse driving game selling more? I guess PS4 owners just like to buy games.
Well when you have no other games to choose from on the PS4.....
Jk
So we're back to no games on PS4 perspective again?
You missed my jk at the end of my post.
So does that mean DC is on the same level as Forza Horizon?
Says a lot about the PS fanbase
Responded twice with different responses?!
My mind is only well-equipped to handle one response per poster per post. I can't handle.
So we're back to no games on PS4 perspective again?
PS4 has more games and are selling more software around the world.
Only curious, you have any data to show? I would like it to sell well as well, but the game is no way near the top 10, or even in the chart.
Actually, I do know that Forza 2 was bundled because the Xbox 360 I bought was bundled with Forza 2 and Halo 3 back in the day. I remember that very well. That is weird it didn't come up in searches, but I fo know that it is the truth I tell you. Maybe it was Forza 3 that was bundled tho. I'm not sure, but I really think it was Forza 2 because I don't remember seeing the Forza 3 symbol. You didn't say it wasn't bundled. It just completely mutes your whole point in your previous post, if you can't understand why you need to reread that post.
This is the only thing I saw about Forza 2 and bundles, and it wasn't console bundled in my searches http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/games/forza-2-and-marvel-alliance-bundle/67438
I still don't understand your point though. Forza 2 sold near the other Forza games without a bundle so that muted your point until you prove otherwise, and when you do it still doesn't matter because successful and "unsuccessful" games are bundled so that blurs your point even more. So can we downplay GT5 numbers a little bit because it was bundle or no?
But its ok to use bundles as an excuse for Forza games selling well, but we absolutely have to use the next gen as an excuse for GT6 sales right? Just making sure we have our excuses in order.

Neither consoles exclusives are AAA. (Says the reviews/sales)
One game did get a hell of amazing score though.
3rd party games rule the roost.
AAA is based on a combo of both. Are you on crack today? Nonsense post after nonsense post.
You do realize that a AAA game is not based on actual sales, right? yes, they're expected to be big sellers, but that is by the publisher, not consumers. The term is used to gauge the money spent on a game, its quality, and its level of promotion. and lol at your review dig, all 3 have a metacritic rating above 80, but even so, quality is subjective.
3rd party rules the roost, really ? you do realize that all the 3rd party game reviews are in the same range as the xbox titles, right?
Really is funny how you can not handle people enjoying & voting for xbox games.
