In keeping with my own assertions, there is certainly no "better" line up when subjectivity weighs so heavily on the "argument", and they both have plenty of games. It all comes down to which ones you like.

The PS4 has 17 80+ rated games on Metacritic for 2015
The Xbox One has 10 80+ rated games on Metacritic for 2015.
The PS4 also had SIGNIFICANTLY more 80+ rated games for 2014.

Well, to be fair, some of those reasons are good. 4 or 5 of them are weird Japanese games that no one will pay any attention to (though they may help in Japan). Several of them are going to be stinkers (e.g., Raven's Cry, Godzilla). Also, I believe Ratchet and Clank: Against All Odds is a PS Vita game, not PS4. There is an R & C game coming to PS4, but that's not it.
Speaking of stinkers, I noticed Arcania. I'm surprised they are bothering with a remake. That was one of the least-inspired RPGs I've ever attempted to play.

No that's not it. There are facts out there. When they're as easy to acquire as something like this, I think it's important to stick to them.

Cuphead is an indie game. But they sometimes have a retail presence.
Fable should be there; that's an oversight.
The list doesn't include indies. If it did ... well, talk about bloating...the PS4 list would be much longer.

Wii U is a great console....sad.
Hopefully Nintendo makes a new console that's more powerful then the PS4 soon as competition is great and this gen has been lopsided in the PS4's favor.
lol, its like you live on another planet where the ps4 is doing 1080p/60fps games left and right. Lopsided was the original xbox vs ps2, multiplatform developers simply cut out ps2 from development several times because the hardware was too underpowered, you will never see that this gen. Can you imagine that, Witcher 3 not coming to said console because it simply couldn't handle it. That was the case in some console wars, not this one.
PS4 is putting out significantly better looking 1st and 3rd party games(save for M $ parity),higher rated games,more games,better online service and way higher sales to name a few things. Its lopsided we need a real challenger to the PS4.
You can thank the similarities in both hardware's for TW3 coming to both.
What significantly better looking games lol? All we get is a little res bump. 1st party is pretty average other than The Order, which had to make comprises to get that running. You are talking xbox vs ps2 when you say significantly.
Just for reference, this is actually what significant looks like in terms of console versions, not games were I can switch back and forth and can't even tell.

Little?Up to 40+% better resolutions and up to 50+% better FPS is more significant than any PS2 vs XB comparisons. You do know Almost all games on both had similar resolutions/performance right?
