Guardians of the Galaxy!

They actually did it. Knowhere is a severed head of a Celestial. I honestly thought they'd just make it a planet or something.

For some reason Marvel/Disney are taking down all the copies of the new trailer on YouTube, so the only reliable place to watch it is on their Facebook here:

: The Wrap has confirmed Latino Review's scoop, and echoed Variety's note that Josh Brolin will also appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron next year. However, despite the many characters already in Joss Whedon's upcoming Avengers sequel, The Wrap adds that Thanos "will have a more prominent role" in that film than he does in Guardians of the Galaxy.

:bang:

Marvel casting always has an air "never expected him/her" and then you see them in the film and you couldn't think of anybody else in the role.

By the looks of the characters and comedy, this movie is going for the 6-14 crowd, while other superhero movies go for the 15+ crowd.

I'd somewhat disagree. While X-Men and DC films have went for the 15+, Marvel have definitely went for all age groups. GoTG looks no more comedic than the Avengers if you ask me, the trailers seem to emphasise them moments more but it's been said by James Gunn that it has a serious tone to it.

In Marvel, I trust.

Other than the Amazing Spiderman films I can't think of the last time Marvel's done something bad, something I really disliked. Of course I don't read the comics so those could be going badly but as far as the MCU is concerned I've enjoyed nearly every film and loved almost every second of SHIELD.

Marvel have nothing to do with the ASM films, those are made by Sony. Marvel so far has done Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk and The Avengers. They've done one or two fairly weak films, mainly the first Thor and Captain America as well as the Hulk film but they weren't that bad.

I'm a big fan of the comic books, but I hope GoTG is successful if only to encourage Marvel and give them more confidence in doing more films about lesser known groups and characters. That said, they have Ant-Man and Doctor Strange in the works and potentially a Black Panther film.

I know, but Spidey is part of the Marvel universe and I wanted to clarify that of the characters under that banner the Spidey films were the only ones I didn't care for.

But I watch em cause Emma Stone is too f*cking hot.

Never heard of this comic but really looking forward to seeing the movie,.

Is this the Marvel movie that features the greatest number of established/famous actors?

Probably. And arguably the two most famous people in the film play a tree and a raccoon.

Positive reviews so far but Empire did say the Marvel formula is getting a little stale.
