That wasn't an argument, just a statement, and more importantly, it wasn't engaging in what I was objecting to -- the console warrioring about "that didn't count for us, so it shouldn't count for you" stuff.
Besides, as I said, talking about whether PSVR titles "count" as PS4 exclusives is appropriate here. That's the topic of the thread and the subforum. Kinect and Xbox and list wars from last generation are not. Those never lead anywhere -- they are filled with broad generalizations about what "they" (whoever "they" is) said, fanboy agendas, etc.
I don't think so (about games, I mean). I am not sure whether PSVR titles should "count" or not. It's part of PS4, and yet, only 3% of PS4 owners have a PSVR. It's kind of a separate platform -- or at least, it's a machine that requires a significant outlay, beyond the base console.
And even if PSVR games "count," not all of them (or even most of them) should, for these purposes. We need to be a little more discriminating than that. It's best to restrict it to significant or substantial games. Maybe that applies to 10% of the PSVR catalog? (I'm guessing) Otherwise you're just padding the list with a bunch of junk no one has ever heard of or cares about. No point in that. Same goes for PS4 games in general -- you don't include every single one, down to the trivial indies. I wouldn't, anyhow.
