Yea we'll see how "stupid" it is when company's follow ND's approach to TPS's. Pretty soon it will be the standard.
Drivatars. They're underrated. I don't play racing games much. Drivatars make it a different experience for me. Seeing friend's cars as I'm driving is awesome.

Yeah, i was going to say that's all i can really think of. Drivatars are an awesome feature. They make the experience that much better.
All of them are either on past Gen, or aren't doing anything that last Gen couldn't...

I don't think we are going to see anything with a landmark generational leap this time around. Console and game design have sort of plateaued.
What are we missing that we haven't been able to do gameplay wise for some to consider it as truly next gen? That is why many stick to graphical comparisons to show next gen. Ever since we were able to beat on hookers and steal their money we've pretty much covered everything or the most important things in life gameplay wise.
I wouldn't say that console design has level'd off, just designed to conservatively this gen. To have a really generational leap this gen would have been way to cost prohibitive, to the manufacturers and end consumer.
So playing Destiny on ps3 is next gen because of it's gameplay.
Right, lol. I wouldn't include any game that has a last gen version as being a true next gen experience. If it can be done in 10 year old hardware there's nothing really new there.
I wouldn't say that. I say it depends on how different they are. For instance Horizon 2 on 360 is very different than the X1 version. I don't know about titanfall, but I bet you could tell the difference simply in how it plays due to it being a twitch shooter and having twice the framerate.

So you are saying that Destiny and Titanfall PS3 and 360 versions are a leap over last gen games on last gen systems even though they are last gen games on last gen systems?
I think the OP is asking for something on this gens systems that couldn't be done on last gen systems. Clearly both of those games could be done on last gen systems (proof available if needed).

Any current gen game can be ported to the last gen.
I think we will in crackdown. If they pull off what they are advertising, that would be a true next Gen experience. IMO
If the premise of the question is a game that can't be done or can't be done without major sacrifices then they don't apply.
not agreeing unless you are referring to Borderlands but even that game doesn't go as deep as Destiny.
Agree. The new gen versions don't even have a FPS advantage, as the old gen versions perform pretty solid.
I might argue it if they were 60fps as that does have an effect on control.
