Have we seen our first "next gen" game yet?

I thought this was awesome to see.

Apparently, Brianna Wu doesn't agree with Valliance or menace-uk-. Now that's my kind of woman.

Hopefully we see this sort of mentality proliferate not only the design scene, but also the public/consumers as well.
 
I think we could see the first next gen game at the end of this month. That Halo 5: Guardians with unprecedented AI. Or something like that. Sorry, astro always used to argue that nothing does AI better than Halo. I'm a believer.

I agree .. me too. It keeps getting better and better . When I looked up Mr hard land on psn...didn't look like he is having too much fun at all.. or maybe he is still waiting for greatness. That would explain it.... ;)

No offense, but aren't you the guy who loved vanilla Destiny?

I'm kind of the guy that criticizes most games here. Not sure how you can critique my tastes.

Destiny is a great game and I play great games.
What was the last game you put over 20 hours into?What's your current gamertag?

Vanilla Destiny was schlock. Rote, uninteresting, safe gameplay mechanics wrapped around a non existent story.

I put 80 hours into The Phantom Pain.

240. Will have it to 290 this weekend. pretty much finished up everything for the week with my other two guys so going to solely focus on the PlayStation 4 character because I have friends on there that are dying for me to raid with them. Starting tonight going to run nothing bored Vanguard strikes to about 2 a.m. in the morning to grind gear. And of course hopefully xur has something for me . Got lots of strange coins .
 
Yeah, Anyone want to see miss Wu's "innovative" game. Pay no attention to her tendency bring up sexism, lol. No tropes here, or unrealistic body imaging. Why should we be holding this up? Maybe this is our true next-gen game!



I'm still trying to figure out why we should think she is someone to make make meaningful comments on making "better" games. Quality of her own efforts aside, "better" is a subjective term. I'm sure she thinks her game falls into that category, and if that is the case, I'm not sure her's is the opinion I would give credence to.

And saying that Forza 6 is just a prettier game is quite frankly stupid. The physics are much improved, and that is the main point of the new game. It certainly has new approaches to tyre physics and water sim in the racing genre. That's a bit more iteration than innovation, but there is only so far you can take it.

It's telling that she brings up VR, as it is a totally different hardware situation/experience. It's much easier to innovate in something when it's new.

Bought it day one. Took a Titan to level 28 or so, got to see the Paul McCartney credits. Disappointed in myself knowing I contributed to the seccess of that droll game.

The metacritic critic and user reviews don't lie.

The metaceitic has absolutely zero relevance or anything to do with YOU actually playing the game personally. Which I'm 99% sure you didn't. If you actually did that would be easy to prove now wouldn't it? No need to continue lying to people dude.
