Sad how people on twitter are saying "Call him what he is, a terrorist" when they have no freaking clue what his motivations were at this point. Do people not know words have definitions anymore? they throw racist, homophobe, Nazi etc around so much now the words are losing their impact. What he did is terrifying but if there was no ideological motivation behind it (religion, political) than it's not terrorism even though it's no less disgusting. If something comes out later that shows he did have those types of motivations that is when he should be called a terrorist.
Too broad of a definition. Terrorism is terrorism because of religious, political, or ideological motivation. Las Vegas, thus far, seems to be none of those.Nevada defines an act of terrorism as “any act that involves the use or attempted use of sabotage, coercion or violence which is intended to ... cause great bodily harm or death to the general population.”
How do you sneak 10 rifles into a hotel?
They were probably taken in parts and put together.
Could just be he's another old guy in vegas and most never think twice...unless ya know "race", be it from either perspective.

The things we've learned about the shooter that make the least sense are about his finances.

He had expensive hobbies, besides guns. High-stakes gambling. Flying planes, which he owned. Going to Alaska to fish.

Yet he has almost no apparent employment history, and where are his business associates?

He also liked to take cruises, we hear. Where did the money to finance his lifestyle come from?

There's been a lot of "normal guy" data today but maybe whatever explains his finances will undermine that.

I just heard on the news that USA has 5% of the world's population, but 39% of the world's shootings.
They also said that they're going to legalise silencers?
I hate loud noises from motorbikes/cars and I'm assuming guns, but I'd be more worried if my neighbour was walking down the street with a silenced pistol strapped to their leg.I think that's up for vote on Wednesday
Yep. Completely stupid.Making silencers legal is idiotic, there is no logical reason to do it.
Hunters say that it helps muffle the sound of the shot so that they dont scare off their prey. However the NRA is arguing that silencers don't really do much to muffle the sound of a shot. So why the need for silencers? These idiots cant get their arguments straight.Making silencers legal is idiotic, there is no logical reason to do it.
30 million to the Trump Campaign. Even Fat Sanders read from the NRA manifesto in her briefing yesterdayNothing will happen on improved gun control because even though the country is in favor of it the NRA has paid off the right people and has spread just enough propaganda about liberals wanting to take all your guns

Hunters already have an advantage of sneaking up on an animal and shooting them from far away, if they also need silencers than maybe they need to start bow hunting or find another hobby all together.
