I'm not really sure how much better they could make it look with Unreal Engine 3 really just a res bump and higher framerate They would have to use a different engine to get anything significant as the PC ver visually don't look much better than the 360 ver minus the res.
 
I'd buy the s*** out of this, if only to play the multiplayer portion of the game @60 fps with some nextgen upres going on.
 
I've played through the first ME several times. Not sure I could do it again, even if FemShep had next-gen hair.
 
i'd be down if they actually update more than just graphics. but they likely won't, so meh. just make a proper sequel to me1 guys... :oops:
 
I never touched the series despite recommendations by everyone I know. I'll definitely buy if it happens. And now I just need Witcher 1 and 2 on PS4 to fill my needs.

Yeah, man I played the first one so many times. I think 4 if I remember correctly. 2nd and 3rd I only did once though.
 
Played through all 3 once already. Don't think I want to go through it again but I can see how others who've never tried it would want a remastered version.
 
A remastered version with all the DLC might entice me to buy this.
 
I've still only played 1 and 2. Wasn't ready for 3 yet when it released and then I heard the negativity towards it so I just didn't care anymore. I'd rather spend my time playing through The Witcher again or something.

The actual game was good IMO, the ending was just crap though. That has been rectified apparently though I never went back to see it after they took so long to update it.

If they included all the DLC I'd buy it. Never got a chance to play those.
 
I assume this also provides an easy way to import campaign decisions into the next game, if that will be a feature of ME4 in any way.

I personally am all for devs rereleasing games in higher remastered quality on these new consoles. Easy turn around for them, cheap and easy way for people with these systems to catch up on games we missed or want to play again, yet also getting a nicer looking version.
 
I'll play through it all again on the Xbox One. I love Mass Effect. It's one of those franchises i couldn't get enough of.

Pretty much the same thing here. When 3 released I wasn't really in the mood for an RPG but I tried to play it anyway. I got about 2 hours in and just wasn't feeling it. That night I started seeing all the negative comments about the ending and just lost interest entirely. I have it for PC but I just can't be arsed to DL it, let along play it.

I feel the same way, loved this series, played it multiple times for each game and would love to see what they do to make it look even better! Would be nice if they also threw in some fresh, new SP content as well.
 
Sooner or later there will be a streaming service for old games, so what's the point? I'm ready for new games, not recycled old ones.

100% agree. Loved the ME games, but I'd rather see new games.
 
Mass Effect Trilogy Listed For PS4 And Xbox One

funny are they running out of ideas?

Seems that more remastered titles may be heading towards the PS4 and Xbox One as online retailer site, Zmart has listed the Mass Effect series for the PS4
 
I'd rebuy this to play Mass Effect 1 without the crappy load times, ME 2 with even better lighting effects and to finally see the updated ending to ME3. I never went back to refinish after they updated the ending. But mostly I'd be going back to play the awesome horde mode again, that was completely awesome and it's a shame a lot of people never played it, thinking it was just a crappy tacked on MP.

Bring it on.
