Frankly if they do not price this poorly, it would be a solid value. Three games, i assume the DLC in included, upgraded graphics and loading times wouldn't be a bad deal. Even though i played all of them, i probably would get this at a lower price point like $19.99 down the line.

Is it going to be remastered? I don't see a link or anything to follow up with. It could just be a repackaging and reissue.

Even if it were remastered, I probably wouldn't play it. I've gone through ME 1 three times now. I don't think I could do a fourth.

Amazing what a difference ten years can make. EA and MS now have an amicable relationship. Guess I have to get around to playing ME 3, now. PUt it off because the ado about the ending soured my desire to so.

As much as I'd like to play it with remastered graphics I don't see myself buying it again. The only caveat would be if it unlocked or added something worth while to the next trilogy.

I played the first ME for about 2 hours, and the second one for about thirty minutes, Id probably bite on this.

I love the trilogy. I played each of them more than once. I didn't even get all butt hurt over the ending of 3, because overall, the experience of playing this series is one of the best ones ive had. It would have to be just more than slightly altered graphics for me to bite on this though. All the DLC's for all three games would have to be included at the very least. Mass Effect 1 needs a combat overhaul for example. ME2 and 3 make it feel way too dated.

1080p/60, better loading times and updated models/textures at a decent price? Maybe.

Ugh. Enough of this remastered crap.

Now a brand new trilogy? Sign me up.

Just finishing ME1 right now I can say yes to this IF and its a big IF they fix the clunkyness of ME1. Man that game has the worst Compass/Navigation I have used in a long time. In comparison I played Oblivion at the end of 2013/early 2014 and the compass was great and easy to read. Have not started 2(heard it was the best) but I have already played a lot of the ME3 Horde mode. That is some serious fun!!

Mass Effect Trilogy Listed For PS4 And Xbox One

funny are they running out of ideas?

Seems that more remastered titles may be heading towards the PS4 and Xbox One as online retailer site, Zmart has listed the Mass Effect series for the PS4
It's less about quantity of ideas as it is about it being a cheaper/safe investment on the companies part.

ME1 was Bioware's first foray into a new genre and new machine. For that reason, frankly, I think it is way worse than Dragon Age 2 (which I actually likes quite a bit). Repetitive maps? Check. Unbalanced gameplay? Check. Short campaign? Check. It needs to fix a lot of things or it won't be fun to play. That said, what if it's remastered for Frostbite engine...?

I'd bite for sure.

I never played through any of them.

I spent a few hours on the first game, and never got past then citadel.

Already have the remastered versions on my PC. New trilogy please. K thanks.
I don't have the remastered editions, but I'm with you, new trilogy or go home Bioware you're drunk.

I'm sure this gen we probably will see a "Mass Effect Collection" similar to MCC. I don't think I'll get that though. Those games just take too much time out of my life.

I enjoyed both part 1 and 2 but I don't feel like going back to re-play then again. I still have part 3 sitting there...

Not sure why they would remaster these, Unreal Engine 3 games on PC usually don't look much better than the 360 counterparts besides the obvious res and framerate. UE3 was developed with consoles in mind first, PC second.

EA Strongly Hints That Mass Effect Games Will Get Remastered

In our conversation at EA's Gamescom welcome event, Soderlund stopped short of confirming the remasters are coming, but he strongly hinted that they might be in the offing when we asked about BioWare's sci-fi trilogy specifically. Here's that segment of my interview:

Game Informer: One of the things I asked you last year when we sat down at E3 was about Mass Effect. At the time, there were two publishers that hadn't really dipped into the remaster world: you and Activision. Activision has since released a number of remasters or ports, and now they are working on a full-on remaster for MW. Revisiting this as the last man standing on remasters, has anything changed? Like a Mass Effect trilogy remaster?

Soderlund: What's changed is that there is proof in the market that people want it, maybe more than there was when we spoke. There were some that did it before, but I think there is even more clear evidence that this is something that people really want. The honest answer is that we are absolutely actively looking at it. I can't announce anything today, but you can expect us most likely to follow our fellow partners in Activision and other companies that have done this successfully.

Reactions: Mcmasters
At this point in time, any game series that hasn't been remastered yet should be working on making it Scorpio/Neo-worthy types of remasters. It would be a disappointment to have an old title redone part-ways rather than push it fully to 4K material. It can still work on the X1/PS4 scaled down so they can reach full userbase potential. It just seems a remaster should show off the latest tech available to give the game the highest leap of improvement from the original.

What I'm trying to say is that I feel the window has now closed for remastering an old title specifically for the PS4 and X1 only.

ME1 has always been a no brainer because of the performance issues it had, It should easily sell a ton as a re-master.

Not too surprised about this if true. If they remaster the whole series I'll really have to think about if I want to jump in. That's a very large time investment.
