I think they did make some changes. Like taking out walls that made you walk around because they couldn't render everything at the same time. Certainly the load times will be massively quicker. I think they did update the control too.The mako was fine imo, it's the other parts of the gameplay that suffers; combat is bad, level design is bad, reuse of environments is hilariously bad and tbh it aged so bad that it's unplayable today for me... And I'm a HUGE fan of the series. I've replayed them all more times than I remember too, so I'm firm in this belief.
2 > 3 > 1 anyone putting the first game anywhere else after replaying them past 2015 needs to seek help.
Hope the planet scan can be faster too. It was the reason I did not play ME2 the 2nd time.I think they did make some changes. what’s the over under on my nostalgia getting the best of me and buying this crap
Well that isn't really true. On the XSX you get 120Htz which is an XSX upgrade. It also has vastly faster load tiimes which again is a staple of this gen. This game didn't get any PS5 or XSX specific upgrades, it's running in BC mode. There is no PS5 or XSX version to buy you can only buy it for PS4/X1 that's why there is that 120hz option on the Series X and not PS5.
Figured so given it was paired with the X1X and not the XSX.In quality mode
Let me put it a different way, the developers didn't add anything next gen to this game, these are PS4 and Xbox One games running on the new machines, any "improvement" comes from the BC solution by each company. MS's approach for BC is more open than Sony's so it allows old games to have access to more of the consoles "power" but they didn't go in and actively change anything for PS5 or XSX.Well that isn't really true. Doesn't matter. Vastly improved load times and 120Htz are next gen features. So they clearly did add next gen features. The clearly actively worked on both or load times wouldn't be as low and are on par with all the other "next gen" versions of last gen games. Same goes for 120Htz.Let me put it a different way, the developers didn't add anything next gen to this game, these are PS4 and Xbox One games running on the new machines, any "improvement" comes from the BC solution by each company. What makes one a next gen version and this one not?Typical EA putting in the least amount of work and not making next gen versions
So playing RDR2 on PS5/XSX has next gen features because they load faster than PS4/X1? My external SSD shaved a few seconds off of RDR2 on my PS4 Pro, did that make it a next gen feature? Bioware did not go in and add anything, the up to 120hz is just because they didn't lock the framerate and the XSX let's them (BC games) access more of the console's power than Sony's BC solution does. These are old gen games running through BC, you can call it whatever you want .Doesn't matter. Vastly improved load times and 120Htz are next gen features. So they clearly did add next gen features. No. It is how much faster it loads that shows the effort put forward. So playing RDR2 on PS5/XSX has next gen features because they load faster than PS4/X1? By being an Xbox One and PS4 gameWhat makes one a next gen version and this one not?
Cool. So there are only 3 next gen games then.By being an Xbox One and PS4 game
By being only on Xbox One and PS4. How can it next gen without being next gen?Cool. So there are only 3 next gen games then.
Does it really matter when it seems people make up random rules to suit their agenda?
A duck for a f***, a f*** for a duck, and twenty five bucks for a f***ed up duck.By being only on Xbox One and PS4. How can it next gen without being next gen?
