And get the Brogamers on my Nintendo console, seriously that is my biggest gripe with Live
.. the amount of highly annoying jerks that keep telling me that I'm an "African American Man who is also a confirmed bachelor and who's mother is well known by them intimately for her prowess in the arts of pleasure". Sadly they never say it that eloquent.
And although they are correct about the confirmed bachelor part, I rather enjoy my sexuality jokes the same way I enjoy my gaming. A bit original, with a dash of hilarious, a pinch of flaming and a whole lot of FABULOUS!
That said, I do believe that the article is assuming a lot. MIcrosoft new CEO never said he wanted to get rid of the the Xbox at all, that is mostly Value Act doing their usual framing to the press to pressure the stockholders into giving them their way. This way they can gut the company, claim they improved things, sell their shares with a profit before the company either goes bankrupt or has to go through years of rebuilding. Value Act did so before with Motorola and other investor groups did so with many other proud companies now being nothing more than a footnote on Wikipedia, costing a lot of people their livelihood and making the Romneys of this world a lot richer.
But that is a bit offtopic for this article, and I'm sorry I dived so deep into that mess. I rather not see any company go the way of Motorola, not because I like companies so much, but there are always people working there that really pay the price for the shareholders quick buck.
No.. then Nintendo, who clearly stated that they will do everything in their power before firing people. And actually took paycuts for the higher ups!
