Looks like it did come out yesterday! Sounds like they made you download China Rising from the file size though, the patch was quite small in the things it addressed.

Quote possibly. It felt like a sniper shot but when I saw that the guy who killed me had an AR it didn't feel right.

Also, I have no network settings on X1. Must be a PC only thing.
 
I have a question about Siege of Shanghai. How do I get to the helicopter on top of the building? I ran around the entire thing, and I cannot find a single way up.

Spawning in vehicles is the best way to do it. Most rooftops give you an elevator to go up.

This one doesn't have an elevator or any entrance into the building for that matter. And I'm trying to get to the helicopter w/o having to spawn into it because the driver clearly had to have had a way to get to the helicopter himself.
 
Are you talking about on top of the huge sky scraper? The one that falls? If there is a helicopter up there that's because someone put it there, it doesn't spawn there.
 
I know what Kassen is talking about. I ran around too looking for stairs/an elevator but couldn't find one either.

Uh, somebody took a helicopter & flew up there & landed it. There's no helicopters that spawn on buildings in Shanghai. You use your right stick to select vehicles in your own spawn, then you take the helicopter & fly up where you want yourself & land.
 
I am tempted to pick this game up all of a sudden, I wastn crazy about the beta on the 360 and I never played Battlefield 3 but ive been watching some you tube videos and this game looks pretty nice on the next gen systems and 64 player lobbies is crazy. I have always been a COD guy so ive never given the Battlefield games a chance.
 
Game is a joke sometimes. Never got this frustrated with any CoD game before. The spawns in TDM are worse then any CoD game, I don't understand the hit detection at all, and the overall BS that occurs during matches is aggravating.

I have no intentions on getting Ghost because I'm CoDed out for the time being, but I'm definitely more in favor of the CoD Gameplay compared to BF.

Titanfall can't come soon enough.
 
The spawns in Battlefield have always sucked, but that's mainly because Battlefield isn't known for Team Deathmatch. It's a larger scale battle with vehicles, etc...where you're normally spawning on your teammates or in a vehicle that's already in use or that you can use. I honestly like Squad Deathmatch a lot more than Team Deathmatch in this game because everybody you see is an enemy pretty much. Four squads of five versus each other. Even more than that, I play Domination over Team Deathmatch or Squad Deathmatch. The spawns are still bad in there, but at least you can choose random or on your Squad.

Don't play TDM. This isn't a TDM type of game.
 
Thanks for the info about that "network smoothing" feature, guys. I lowered that to 10 or 20 percent, and have been enjoying it.

Anyone know if campaign saves are still screwed up on PS4? I'd really like to unlock those weapons, particularly the M249, but don't want to start if it'll just screw up.
 
I actually enjoy TDM in this game. Normally I would play other game modes, but TDM is good in this game. The maps are a good size for it and it is fast paced without being too fast.

Same thing with Domination.

When you enter a Conquest game you really do everything by yourself. No one talks in the game. There are so many players it just happens that sometimes a few people doing stuff by themselves end up at the same capture point and take it, then everyone goes off in their own direction, never to see each other again.

Defuse was pretty fun with only 1 life.

Rush I have yet to get a good team to play with so that hasn't been fun getting creamed every time.
 
^^ What COD has THE WORSE spawn system out of any popular FPS game...
TDM/Dom is great on BF4 it shows COD how to do it..
My only complaint and its a biggie IMO is its ONLY 20 players in both modes WTH Dice!?
I play them modes on the pc with 32 players.
The crazy hecticiness of 32 player dom/tdm would turn many console gamers heads to BF4...especially the twitchers

There actually is a helicopter that spawns on top of a roof, and it is a roof you cannot reach on foot to boot. I've seen it on my mini-map constantly spawn up on top of a building near base.

The first two are actually pretty much laser beam accurate if you burst fire. Both are quite phenomenal for long distance kills, but you gotta limit your bursts to like 2 to 3 rounds a trigger pull. You pretty much never want to go full auto with an LMG unless you're point blank or just trying to suppress. The bullet deviation you get when going full auto on the LMGs is absolutely enormous.

I just started using the LSAT this last week, and have been enjoying it. From what I've heard, the PKP, M249, and MG4 are the best / most popular LMGs in the game. the PKP does the most damage of all the LMGs (I have it unlocked, but haven't tried it yet), and the MG4 and M249 have pretty much the exact same stats (supposedly both phenomenal for bursting and aggressive playing style), but one has more vertical recoil, while the other has more side to side. I don't have either of those yet, so I don't know. You get the M249 for playing through all 3 endings of the campaign, so I suppose you can get it fairly quickly if you're not going to get to the MG4 any time soon (the last LMG to unlock).

Stubby grip and muzzle break do wonders for most of the lmgs. Once I unlocked the m240 from single player I put up over 800 kills in two nights of playtime with it. The 800 rpm fire rate for that weapon plus the stubby and muzzle break combo equals beast mode. I was extremely disappointed with the rpk that you unlock once you hit support master though.
 
Finally got into a couple decent rush games.

The last one though I got booted out to the home screen. Finally planted a bomb on one of the objectives, died 10 seconds later, was waiting impatiently to spawn so I could rush back and protect it and then BOOM! booted out to the Home screen. :smash:
 
Can anyone tell me where I can get Premium for PC on the cheap?

Need a serial.
 
I used to be quite good but I found I was getting owned in gun fights but finally figured out why.
I'm a mid range player, I prefer to help my team by spotting a lot and picking off guys as they approach objectives. Without my G3A3 I was lost. The DMR's are perfect for medium range engagements. Finally got my K/D back to level at least with an over 60% win percentage.
 
I'm not getting premium, Not when they put firestorm and caspian in there, the only classic maps i didn't like from BF3. And the glitches and bugs can be infuriating. But when i get a good 2 - 3 hour session it's some of the most memorable battles and gameplay i've experienced.

Never been so torn over a game :(

The dmr's have had a major nerfing to the point where they aren't even viable ingame. Check levelcaps youtube channel for a video demonstration.
