I played many hours of BF4 on 360 before I got the X1, the thing that's bothering me is the blurryness when looking around in the game on the X1. I don't remember having that issue with the 360 version, so when I play the X1 I'm thinking to myself, where is this blur coming from? It's really annoying and for some reason I can't stand it for more than a few minutes and I find myself ejecting the game to play something else.
blur is there on purpose.. its an added effect.

yeah X1 version has motion blur EFFECT. it doesnt mean its not smoother lol i dont get what you are saying

you just mean you dont like the motion blur effect? if so too bad, but X1 version looks and plays FAR better than the x360 version

Here we go, this is exactly what I'm talking about, it's the same as this video of BF3:

Yes, I don't like the motion blur effect, I would prefer it off/disabled. I didn't see this effect on the 360 version.

cause it cant handle the motion blur effect. its supposed to be a good feature :|

Here's another example of what I'm talking about, it's pretty apparent in this video:

I'm guessing we can't turn this off?

we get it you dont need to post videos lol it has motion blur on purpose.

complain to DICE if you want them to change it. doesnt matter to me either way. it doesnt effect my game at all

How is it a good feature? It blurs the background as you're playing the game and looking around...ugh.

Because to some people, it adds to the overall effect. Some people like it, some don't. On pc, you can turn it off, but like Dib said, it's added on purpose, it's meant to be there.

It makes it very difficult to see enemies in game though. I can't stand that it blurs until you literally stop moving. Hell, I noticed my play has suffered as a result of it. I was playing very well on the 360, getting good kills and reacting great to other players, now I feel like I'm handicapped.

I'm with you man, I don't like it either. I disbable it in all of my games when present (on pc). Skyrim has some form of it I think for menu, crysis, BF4, etc....I disable it whenever I see any blur option, even if I don't know what's being blurred. I just don't like it.

Only a noob would say this as silencers are pointless in hardcore.
I no noob noobcake, 99 percent of my stats are division one worldwide. Without silencers the sound from your gunfire gives away your position to enemy players even though it's not visible on a minimap.

You can hear the gun shots and lose your hidden position to the enemy WITH the silencer as well.
They aren't quiet and they can echo when fired.

Nice going EA and BF4!

Law Firm Investigates Electronic Arts on Battlefield 4 About Compliance with Federal Securities Laws
by Giuseppe Nelva (1 hour ago) 0 @abriael

Law Firm Holzer Holzer & Fistel sent a press release announcing an investigation on statements issued by Electronic Arts and some of its executives between July 24th, 2013 and December 4th, 2013 about the development and sales Battlefield 4 and the game’s impact on the company’s revenue and future projects.

Apparently the investigation aims to uncover possible lack of compliance of said statements with Federal Securities laws.

While no specific information was provided on what the statements under investigation actually said, or on what laws may have been broken, the firm encouraged investors that purchased EA stock during the period mentioned and suffered losses on that investment to contact them.

The most probable reason behind the investigation is that EA’s enthusiastic statements on Battlefield 4 may have made its stock look more tempting for investors compared to its realistic value, which can be ground for a lawsuit or worse. Of course this is just my personal speculation, so take it with a grain of salt, as we can’t draw any conclusion until any official results are announced.

This is why we need a digital download laws to help the customer. If something like BF4 is a broken piece of s*** we should get our money. Yes I still play BF4 but man shame what happened to the game.

Ever since the game released and there's been tons of bugs making the game unbearable for some, notice how every EA and DICE blowhard hasn't done there usual smack talk about BF and CoD.

The only PR they've done is responding gamers mad at a buggy game and of course right in the middle of it..... release the DLC pack. No delay will stop a cash grab.

I don't think you'll be seeing those Swedish DICE guys getting on the bullhorn saying how great BF is anytime soon. LOL
