Has there been any talk about wheel support? I'm hoping they allow for logitech ones this time.

All I have seen on wheel is that Thrustmaster are making one for the xbox. Ketto said on TXB that the xbox one still uses the same FFB or something as the 360. so wide wheel support for things like the G27 are a no go.

Oh well that sucks about the g27 was hoping they'd allow that this time around, I guess I'll wait and see what 3rd parties come up with, thanks.

The good news is, Thrustmaster make quality wheels. The Thrustmaster 500 on PC is pretty awesome. Lets just hope we get more than a 90 degree lock and proper H shifter options and a clutch as standard.

This is what I spoke of when this topic came up the last time mate. There will be atmospheric elements to create a much more dynamic environment when racing.

i hope they add minor things like leaves blowing up and grass swaying by when you get near it at speed or the fog swirl about as you go through dense areas...

Prehaps only effects, & no real implication to driving physic. If they do have actual rain that affect handling, its the final nail in the coffin for driveclub & GT6.

but Jesus, its almost launch day, & information for the game is still very limited.

Driveclub? It's just an arcade racer. No nails there.

I have no clue what that means.

Does it actually rain ? and does that rain effect the way the cars handle ?

No idea lol, just what I quoted above from the OXM article.

The tracks (which include the Prague circuit) are equally easy on the eye; buildings are built of a wider variety of materials, atmospheric effects such as fog and rain are more prevalent, the crowd headcount has swelled to 400,000, and the road surface has been laser-scanned for utmost fidelity. Be sure to plug in some speakers, too, as the audio's now generated moment-to-moment from a vast toybox of effects (including abstract touches like lion roars) in order to better reflect the mood.

Oh man...I can't wait to see more on the film speed! Tomorrow!

Serious class, this is going to set X1 from the competition...a true AAA game at launch.

BTW- To shed some light on my previous question, my research found the suggestion that there will be about 40 tracks in the game.

Ohh, that was a pretty cool video. Hard to believe we will be playing Forza 5 in a couple months!

That video is very cool. So, if you can't afford an X1 and Forza 5, you can just buy a supercar and mount a camera to it instead? ;)

It would be especially cool to have a "filmspeed" mode where you could make a run on a track and then run through again with a mounted cam simulated to come up with your own. Or I could just sit and watch this a gazillion more times.

Wow, looks great...but can I please be allowed to purchase some UV polarized sunglasses?

Gameplay from TGS:

I hate watching it when it's in almost arcade mode, what with the collisions doing nothing at all and no real punishment for going into corners way too hard. But I saw a little "Good Turn" thing pop up on the upper left and that was a nifty touch, and the surrounding area of the track looks awesome.
