Looks good, but freaking hell my eyes are hurting through the pc screen watching a video from the sun glare.

Sometimes, I miss PGR --- you know for the city like environments... but I guess this will have to do.

Still not sure if this will be my launch game or if I'll give Battlefield a shot

I played the first 3 Forza's but skipped the last one, haven't played it at all. But I couldn't help notice that there's a billion add-on packs for FM4, if 5 is gonna have that much add-on stuff, I just think it's too much especially when FM4 never seemed to fall in price much and then you're expected to buy all this DLC.

I like Forza a lot but damn would I prefer a Rallisport Challenge (oh I wish, will never happen) or even a PGR minus motorbikes. Just too much DLC milkage with FM4 put me off.

Add on stuff are mostly cars, & you can pick individual car if you choose too ( I think). The consistent updates of new cars models is one of the strength of Forza series. They will also add in 'campapgn'(spelling?) fior teh new cars.

They do always have a good selection of cars at launch, & not inflated cars numbers by using old models & 50 variants of the same cars.

As always, DLC is optional. It is almost entirely cars, and I don't think I bought more than 1 or 2 packs myself. It just gets ridiculous - you already get 500 in the box, and I've never drove most of those.

I really hope this time around they make new tracks for DLC, then I would be excited.

That TGS video was amazing. The lighting is phenomenal.

I got to play this real quick at an Xbox One event, it was all set up with easy settings on. Really solid with the new controllers though, way to quick of a demo to judge but looked good and I settled in quickly.

Did it look any different than Forza 4 graphically? Forza 4 was already the graphics leader in racing, so it's hard to see that look even better!

Yeah I've been playing a lot of 4 and Horizon, and it definitely looked noticeably better played in cockpit for most of it, then third person/car for a bit. More detail/resolution everywhere, and the lighting was nice. It ran really smooth, felt more responsive then 4 somehow, but would need to play at home to be sure on that.

I'm just glad that it already feels really polished in the user previews. That's what I like about turn 10, they are developer that polishes their games and they feel super solid, none of this "target" spec stuff, it just is what they say.

I'm getting more and more excited for this day by day. ;)
Me too, but I'd really like to see more. It's out in 8 weeks and I feel like I really haven't seen much at all, especially direct feed gameplay. I would like to see some more tracks, and other aspects of the game.

I think watching idiots play racing games pisses me off more than any other genre.

Not buying an X1 at launch but my body is ready to make Forza my most played game on the console just like with the 360.

Sadly all you get at these events is people playing games very poorly.

Holding off on this for now but not seeing the supposed downgrade some are claiming?

I'm sure the game's quality is fine. We just had the usual suspects in the PS forum so I figured I'd have some fun in that other thread to rustle some jimmies.

I agree, Turn 10 is one of the best if not best developers out there. They polish like crazy. BUT, they are releasing a game that is NOT finished on the disk. I wish they would over ride Microsoft's desires and delay the game until it's ready.

I'm getting more and more excited for this day by day. ;)

Welcome to the Union FEAR! Your new home!

I was not at E3, but the aliasing problem I did notice, when I was a Gamescom. It was pretty apparent, as I wasn't even trying to look for flaws, but it just stand out.

I hope turn 10 can really do something about this.

that might be a little of an exaggeration for a dev studio that has made exactly 6 games, in the same genre, all on the same platform.
Judging by their attention to detail, and who the team is comprised of, I still give them the "team to beat". Their efficiency with outsourcing with still a strict quality requirement shows just how dedicated they are.

couldn't you say the same about bungie? Until Halo were they really that well recognized?

absolutely. Are/were Bungie and Turn10 great devs? yup. The best devs out there? Nope.

In your opinion, I think turn 10 is great for another reason, I actually play their games longer than a couple weeks, actually bungie and turn 10 I put more hours in their games than all the other studios combined this generation, and I played every exclusive on both consoles.

I've had an Xbone and PS4 preordered since E3 but haven't been left impressed by Microsofts machine since. If Forza doesnt wow me at launch I'll only be getting the PS4.
