That would be awesome for those with a rig that can handle it, if a bit scary-as-hell.

Unfortunately, I'm going to need a total overhaul before my PC is ready for Occulus.
 
Forza Horizon 3 will be released 2016 too, they said they are on a 2 year cycle. So..

Quantum Break
FH3
Scalebound
Crackdown
Gears 4


Those are the only AAA games lol, not counting unannounced stuff too. That's more than 2015 "best xbox year in history" lol

Watched a bit of it. I liked Quantum Break and Scalebound.

QB's combat looks fun, which was a concern of mine, so that's good. No interest in the TV show.

The first part of Scalebound's demo seemed like a basic hack and slash with a dragon assist, but the second half was good -- the dragon-monster fight. I thought the comments from the lead character were lame ("let's rock," etc.). I doubt I'll buy it, unless I'm hard up for games to play, but it looks fun for those who enjoy these style of games.

Crackdown isn't my style. I don't have much interest in another checkbox-filled, open-world game.

Didn't see anything in the indie stable (ID@Xbox) that interested me, but they skimmed over that pretty quickly.

Next years exclusive lineup looks way better. Plus its not all bunched up in a short window.
 
scalebound was interesting and I think theres still the potential for it to be a game I could like but a few aspects about it seem a bit lame (main character for starters). Still need to know more. It's open world right? QB still looks good but the combat is starting to look like it's pretty repetative with the constant freeze, dash, shoot, freeze loop and not much else, but there may be more to it. Crackdown lookin' pretty good as well...
 
Anyone notice the small details of the far left building when the top of the collapsing building clips it? Not to mention the way it reacts to weight.

No, I did not notice that. Good find. They said the cloud compute power they are using for destruction is equivalent to 20 Xbox ones.

If we are going to be biased and throw around blame here....technically Nathan Drake is too busy trying to cross-dress as Lara Croft while Sam Fisher was vomited out by Solid Snake.

No, I really don't think that's the case.

Did people here even play the first few Tomb Raider games? They played nothing like Uncharted. The tone was totally different and there was a much bigger emphasis on puzzles/exploration in the first Tomb Raider games. Uncharted, ripped off Indiana Jones, and played like a polished version of just about every 3rd person action game on the PS1 and PS2.

That Tomb Raider video actually looks like a Splinter Cell Blacklist mod/hack/code, where you swap out Sam Fisher skin for Laura Croft skin. Blacklist was loaded with 50 meter by 50 meter area's populated by 3 - 4 brain dead AI who would talk to each other while you caused distractions while crouch walking around the room/area.

And, you must be too young to remember, but the first Splinter Cell took a very different approach to the stealth genre than Metal Gear at the time. Sure they were both stealth games but they couldn't feel more different in how they played. No one looked at Splinter Cell back then and said "It looks like someone swapped in a Sam Fisher skin for a Solid Snake skin." That thought is laughable.
 
Only 2 thinks make me teary- Soldier movies, and Daddy stuff...
