Paris Games Week - Playstation Media Showcase (Oct. 30)

Just tuned in. Missed SP's trailer, Ghost of Tsushima? Yeah, that's no open-world western, lol.

Ok, Ryan, don't say anything obnoxious....

I like that Pixel Opus game -- really unique gameplay, very colorful. Concrete Genie.

Some really unique psvr titles, a roller skate racer? Reminds me of sunset overdrive racing. Pilotwings=ultrawings, haven't seen that in forever. The monster game is supposedly a hero multiplayer shooter, first time I've seen anything like that.

They said they'd show 7 new games. I'm thinking 4 are PSVR.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Play as Aloy.

Detroit looked good.

God of War, too.

Aloy. There's my girl.

Shadow of Colossus looks good, too.

Damn I didn't even recognize The Last of Us. That looked wicked.

Good show! A-. Highlights for me:

- Sucker Punch reveal, Ghost of Tsushima
- Concrete Genie
- Detroit
- Play as Aloy in Monster Hunter
- God of War
- Last of Us II trailer
- Oure

Well... I want Sucker Punch's new game, and the other big games we already knew about from Sony

That's it. smh

I'm getting tired of these shows showing mostly the same big budget games over & over again for the past 3 years

Is DREAMS dead? lol

Seemed ok to me. Nothing major except Blood and Truth PSVR is from the studio that did london heist so I'm expecting quality stuff.

Giving it a C. Ghost of Tsushima looks good based on the CGI trailer, but I would love to see what the gameplay is like. God of War is still day one for me.

Great show, thought The Last Of Us was Tomb Raider or Days Gone at first lol...the little GoW look was ok but the game will rock for sure...Detroit looks good also.

When that guy said DDD I was just waiting for the camera to pan out.

Ellie's new gf is shredded.

Looked cool as usual. Naughty Dog always seem to deliver.

I know, I thought it was Days Gone. Or maybe more of the Sucker Punch game. I didn't even realize it was TLoU until the end.

God of War looked awesome but was too short of a clip
TLOU2 trailer was awesome
Ghost of Tsushima is an awesome concept, playing as a samurai in an open world game? can't wait to see more gameplay, it was all in engine.
Concrete Genie looked great
Detroit looks really intense and interesting
Spider-Man looks amazing
There were a few indie games that looked good too like Oure, stifled and The Hong Kong Massacre.

Really well done show overall and people who are into VR got a lot of stuff as well, there was just about something for everyone here including some great looking 3rd party stuff, I can't wait for Far Cry 5.

Apparently this was announced at the show, but I missed it.

Oure. It's available now. $20.

"Announced at the end of today’s PlayStation Paris Games Week pre-show, Oure — pronounced oh-ray — is a new PS4 indie title developed by Heavy Spectrum Limited, the studio behind last year’s Shadow of the Beast remaster. What’s more, this new title is available ... today, on the PlayStation Store. It’s on sale there for $20 right now."

Here's the game description: "Take flight in a dream-like cloudscape as you seek to reawaken the relics of a lost civilization. As a unique child born with the powers of the ancient dragons, your parents cast you from the stricken surface into the land above the skies. There you must use the abilities of both your human and dragon forms to amass magical power, solve strange mysteries and seek out the enigmatic 'Titans' that can revive the world."

I think I'll get it. Sounds like my kind of game.

Yeah all that single player content sucks huh? lol Man these things take time to make, they do need to stop announcing things 3 years out but God Of War and Spider-Man were announced in 2016 and they'll be out before the next E3.
