Since I never owned a PS3, SOTC was the thing most exciting about the conference to me. That looks great for a remake and it’s a good price.
Didn't catch the show but did see Crapgamer crying like a little baby, or should i say feigning interest that Sony showed the same games again. As opposed to what. Having no games to show at all? Guy cracks me up. I would be less entertained without him being around.
Saw The Last of Us 2 trailer. f***ing amazing. SOTC is one of the most impressive looking remakes ever. Detroit looks awesome. God of War is going to deliver, but we already knew that.
Great time to be a PS4 owner. Then again, there was never a bad time. When you go to the store and buy a console tailored in blue packaging, you know you're getting greatness.

MS has shown Sea of Thieves at 3 E3s so its not just Sony. On the other hand this conference just confirmed stuff is still way way out... I think people also hoped they were going to announce more than a remake and suckerpunchs IP this year.
Betwixt the X, pro and switch, games are in development longer than the consoles are lasting.

Least we know there are games coming this generation to PS4. Do we know if anything is coming to Xbox One outside of Crackdown 3 and Sea of Thieves? Not really. It could be 2020 before we see or even hear about a new Xbox game.
New games I guess. Maybe give release dates for some games already announced instead of a CGI trailer for a #whothaf***nows?

Do we though? Where are the dates? How come a game announced in June this year has a release date, but ones announced in 2013-2016 don't? How do we know we aren't being #lastguardian'd.
So you'd rather them take their ball and go home like Microsoft instead of showing more of the games they already showed. Okay, gotcha.
E3 was 5 months ago man. And many considered SotC remake a weak lone reveal. But we waited for Gamescom, then TGS, now PWG. No ones giving Sony s*** because they showed ghost of whatever or cos they didn't show days gone or dreams. Its because they're tired of being teased with carrots on a long f***ing road without signposts.

Well luckily Sony is comfortable with being the tortoise. Slow and steady wins the race. That's always been their style. PS3 was slow at launch, PS4 was slow at launch. We saw how PS3 turned out, best rated/most exclusive games that gen besides the few on Wii that rated higher and we're seeing the results with the PS4. There's always something coming. Year round. This ain't no sprint.
Can't say the same for Xbox. Their style is burn themselves out early and throw heavy hitters like Halo and Gears at you on the holidays and pretend they're winning. Back to reality, Sony's approach is vastly better and more effective. That's why they've crushed the competition for 3/4 generations they've been a part of. The hare can have the carrot. He ain't winning s***.

Every game they've shown is coming in 2018 or 2019. Not that hard to figure out. Will Xbox even show a new game before 2019? Halo 6 and Horizon 4 don't count, we know they're coming.

Sony doesn't really need anything right now... They've released enough good games for the rest of the year as those games will be selling during the Holidays along with 3rd party games

Both MS and Nintendo have announced and released more games this year than Sony so afaiac Sony needed to announce more an 1 new game to offset the deficit. Its understandable people might be wondering where the f*** these 2015 games are. The PS4 has been superseded twice and people remember TLG and Until Dawn and LBPHub were PS3 games initially then stopped showing up at conferences and then became ps4 games.

No. They're all coming in 2018 and 2019. What don't you get here? Yeah, Sony has taken their time releasing games this gen, and in previous gens. It's called quality control. Don't release something that isn't ready. Microsoft could take some notes.

You posted your tag, i looked it up and noticed you're just like anyone else that tries to hate on PS while playing up Xbox. You don't even play any games. 40,000 gamerscore in 14 years? If you spent as much time playing games as you do console warrioring you'd probably be less sensitive to people's opinions and actually enjoy the hobby more.

I generally don't care that Sony showed the same games again. I don't have issue. In fact the only one I saw brought it up was OBM whom I replied too. I didn't think that was much of an issue really. The bigger issues i felt were the lack of announcements throughout the year - something I can only gauge proper now, because I gave them the benefit of the doubt- and the fact that we're no closer to release dates for games in development for 5-7 years.
As to your comments of quality, I see no correlation. Rushed games can be good and delayed games awful.
I think question is now E3, Gamescom, TGS, PGW has gone by why you get all defensive about legit criticism. Especially when Sony bosses reassured us there were way more announcements to come.
I bet Nintendo and MS would have received some serious s*** if all they announced at E3 was a bayonetta/phantom dust remake and a CG trailer for a 2019 game.
