Nice, I got some ice shrooms, Chop Suey, and Fear Shrooms who are surprisingly effective. Especially when they aren't directly in the way.

Rev3games review is very nice. Exactly what i hoped. Like the dude said..enough with the serious shooters, all dark and moody..finally some colour, finally something different. Man looking at the characters in the footage manages to bring a huge ass smile on my face, looks lovely. I wanna wait until i can afford an X1, but man...i want to play this. My bro has it, soon i will go check it out. Anyway...great review:
There is a plant you put in the pot. O cant remember the name but it looks like a boxer that KOs the zombies LOL. THAT never gets old!
I do find myself wishing there was a melee in the game. Small negative for me as well, but some headbutts and punches would be nice.
Hopefully I can get this game to work tonight, servers were not working for me last night. Seems like it will be a good time, small negative is no melee button
I'd stick to Garden Ops. You might have to get specific with what you search for, but I was definitely able to get into games. Too bad this and Titanfall doesn't have any 360 to X1 crossplay. Would've been neat.
I played the heck out of this game yesterday. The only thing that REALLY pisses me off about it is that it's that "bare minimum" EA published game again. It was $40 & there are 5 Survival Maps & 3 of the larger, Rush style Gardens & Graveyards maps.
If anybody hasn't played Gardens & Graveyards, check it out, please. It is awesome & so much fun. That is why I was kind-of upset, I just want more! This game would be amazing if there were 10 Survival maps & around 5-6 of the Garden & Graveyards maps. The game really should have been $25. If they would have included that extra content, doubled it to 10 Survival & 5 Gardens & Graveyards for the $40 they did charge, this would literally be the best "Arcade" style game ever released on the Xbox across all the Xbox consoles. (Dungeon Defenders is up there for me too considering how much you got for $15)
The only other thing this game needs like others have said is a melee button on the right stick...make it a weaker attack (so it wasn't one hit) awesome sounding "slap" sound with your vegetable character...haha! I can only imagine a lettuce or broccoli slap sound. It would have been classic.
I still love this game & give it an 8.0. All the reviews for it were pretty much spot-on. If they would have included more map content though, this could have been a '9.5' out of me as the best "Arcade" style game ever released. Gardens & Graveyards is THAT fun when you play with 5-6 of your friends. Please give us a free map pack, Pop Cap!

Xbox One servers any better or any updates on when they will be? I could not play last night, pretty frustrating.
I was able to play 2 solo rounds of the horde mode which was really boring by myself. It was saying I was getting coins but after the match I didnt have any and it said the sticker store was down? Where are my coins?

There was a message on the title screen last night saying they were doing maintence over night to solve all the problems. It should be better. Make sure you guys try out the Gardens & Graveyards mode. It is incredibly fun.
I'd tell you guys if it was better today, but all of Xbox Live is currently down. Go figure. One thing gets fixed, then all of Xbox goes down. lol.

Wow I'm already have friends getting their refunds on this game because they can't play on the same team every time they look for a match.
They said its weak because CoD can do it so as Titanfall but Battlefield and now this game won't do it.
This is a problem that I can't even have friends together if this is what frustrating them.
I hope this is only 2 titles that will do that.

Picked it up on the 360 and played death match for a few hours. Fun stuff.
I like the lack of melee. I do wish the mp was to 75 instead of 50 to make the games a little longer. I wish it came with more maps considering its only a MP and a bit pricey. Hopefully the free DLC was not just talk.

Finally got into some competitive MP and Graveyards & Gardens has been really fun. Been trying to level up my guys, specifically the Peashooter. Has anyone got any kills with the Peashooters Hyper ability yet? All it seems to do is make him run fast and get super high jumps which is useful for gaining an advantage. Unlocked a butt load of achievements. Those run freely.
That said, I tried a few times in order to get into the game I was in. Didn't take long, but it's a sign that EA servers are still playing catch up. Seriously, why do their servers suck so hard?

matchmaking sucks!!!! I've been sitting here for ten minutes trying to do gardens and graveyards, still have not been able to try that.
got into a few rounds of tdm and it was pretty fun, this is not an easy game and shooting takes some skill. When underground with the chomper what do u hit for the one hit kill ?
I'm about to shut this off, still sitting here and when I cancel matchmaking the game freezes!!!! Fix this EA!!

Back to echo the frustration that everyone is having with multiplayer. JFCEA. How the largest publisher in the world can continue to push out broken mp game on top of broken mp game is beyond reasoning. Joining a server at this point is a crap shoot. EA needs to concede the idea they are equipped or skilled enough to run matchmaking servers. Utter s***.
Even bigger issue is what other have pointed out, you cannot join friends. I have the 360 version. Horde mode allows you to party up and then go into a game but no way to do this in death match or rush modes.

However the game does not allow people to join the lobby, instead it gives error that game is in a mode that does not allow joins as it maybe loading map....even though it wasn't, it was just the lobby. I haven't had any server troubles with this game? I've played it non-stop since it came out. I don't get what the problems are people are having? This game has honestly ran smoother than any title in recent memory for 12 vs. 12.
You go underneath an enemy & a big red circle comes up. Pull Right Trigger when that circle is up.
Review actually reads like a 9 but still an 8.

I don't think the All Star is over-powered at all. His gun is only moderate damage at range, then you have to be close for all his other attacks. You probably just need to play a little more & see how each class has a weakness to something of the other classes.
If anything his gun seems underpowered but maybe I just suck. I think i just unlocked the punting thing and didnt get a chance to try it yet. They are bombs?
The game is fun even though I suck but this is the type of game I wont stress getting good at, I am sure over time ill improve. The game runs great when I am i can actually play but the servers are complete crap and takes way to long to get started, I havent even been able to try out Gardens and Graveyards yet, it just sits there for 10 minutes then freezes when I cancel. I dont have time at night to sit around and wait, I have a full time job and a family, when my Xbox goes on I want to play and not sit around, get it together EA!!

I don't know, I feel like I get killed more with the all-star than I get kills. Plus, the little suicide bomber guy is easy to kill. Otherwise, All-Star dies fairly easily. I think it's the soldier guy that feels a little off balance. Bit too fast and aim/fire rate is almost too good I think. Out of all the characters in the game, I just find him the hardest to hit.
Also, in case someone gets stuck on the challenge I mentioned before, to get a kill with a Hyper, all you gotta do is shoot while it's activated. I guess it does a little more damage/increase fire rate. I found it pretty useful in Garden Ops. Speaking of which, has anybody beaten that mode on Hard or Crazy difficulty yet? I tried Hard last night and had saved up quite a bit of reinforcements. Ended up using them all and this was a full four player game. Good teamwork too. Everybody was smart about what was planted, where a barricade went, and quick to revive. Game gets real hard at times, but it's fun to try and beat it. I'm guessing the key is to unlock more powerful weapons or versions of the plants.
