They really f***ed up the vehicles with this patch IMO.

Feels like overkill, especially outside solo.

These sort of things will take a while to get right. Howver, the end game car game did need addressing. I was playing last week and saw 9 freakin cars driving around in endgame. That is just silly.

Didn’t get to play last night so o haven’t tried the new patch yet. It did read like an excessive change from the patch notes. But cars are ridiculously over used in the end game. They had to do something. They’ll probably balance it back.

I think the bigger problem is they seem unable to change car health in each mode. So the more players per team the weaker a car feels. I mean cars have always died quick in squads, but in duo and solo they were too tanky. So these changes are likely to cause issues somewhere.

Tiny bumps on the road can add to vehicle damage now. You gotta pump those brakes and chill with the offroading now.

Next step will be to add seatbelts and an AI controlled police force to give you speeding tickets.

Awesome. Forget the end game, I just wanna ambush the po po.

It's not the vehicles that are the problem in PUBG. It's the crappy aiming that is the problem. THAT is what they need to be focusing on, not on how many buggies and jeeps are in the end game. Fixing the aim will have the trickle down effect of reducing the reliance on vehicles. Until they do that, I'm more than happy to hit a few soft speed bumps in an open field with my 2,000 lb weapon, doing what it SHOULD do, which is turn you into roadkill.

The aiming is fine. Adding some assists would make it too easy.

I’ve gotten use to the controls and aiming.

This last patch has fixed a lot of the aiming for me....it’s either the frames or more consistent or the input lag is better but Fpp mode feels so mich better

So the gun combat is definitely improved. I’d had more kills tonight than I’ve had in ages. We didn’t use vehicles to much so I can’t comment on how weak they are now but I did see lots of teams wiped because their car exploded. It’s definitely a good patch though.

nah, when a guy can dance around with his bare fists and beat you when you're firing a weapon, ANY weapon, the aiming controls are not ok. That should not happen, ever. Not even if you're a newb to the game going against a seasoned pro.

this game was made to play with the precision of a mouse, and that just can't be done with the controller. Not debatable. While there are a select minority who have the hand dexterity to better approximate that type of precision, the majority of us are left with a herky-jerky mess where it's nearly impossible to realign the reticle on a target that hops or zigzags within an easy 50 meters. So while that may be fun for a few, the majority are left in the cold.

I think they should at least explore adding a mode with limited aim assist, something like where there isn't any outside of 50 meters but within that 50 meters, the closer you get the greater the assist. So when you get to point blank with a shotgun there is no doubt you aren't going to get punched to death.

but i do agree that the aiming had gotten better with each update.

No. We all start out that way, you just need practice. I practiced by jumping into high population zones and my aim eventually get better.

Aim Assist would ruin this game.

Yep. Keep aim assist out of this. Combat feels lethal in this game because of how dangerous it is. Having aim assist would only take from that.

You guys do realize that 99.9% of console shooters have aim assist right? That's not coincidence btw.

It's also irrelevant. If you add aim assist to this game then it becomes a generic shooter....Might aswell just play the more action oriented shooters like Gears or Battlefield.

Really? Wow, I didn't know that all. Thank you so much for making that clear. You are a valued member who brings excellent contribution to this forum.

I agree, the aiming is what makes PUBG different and fun. Everyone plays by the same rules too. Take your time and aim. Don't panic and stop playing the game like it is COD.

There's just nothing more exciting and rewarding than this game for me right now.

Auto aim works great for other games, but it would drastically change this one for the worse.

Exactly.

It is what gives the end game tension.

It makes every fire fight won satisfying.

You don't get that in 99.9% of other shooters. In other shooters the satisfaction comes from the overall K/D ratio, or the amout of points yyou amass. Etc.
